| iOS 13.2.2 / 13.0 / 12.4.1 CheckRa1n JAILBREAK RELEASED! How To Jailbreak iOS 13 |

In this video, I have the pleasure to show you how to jailbreak iOS 13.2.2, iOS 13.2, iOS 13.1, iOS 13.0, iOS 12.4.2, iOS 12.4.1, iOS 12.3.1 and iOS 12.3 on iPhone X all the way down to iPhone 5S using the newly released #CheckRa1n Jailbreak which was released just an hour ago by the CheckRa1n Jailbreak Team. Originally planned to be released 2 days ago, the first public Beta was released today with macOS support and it works very smoothly.
The Jailbreak is not the casual Unc0ver-style jailbreak you've got used to since iOS 9. This is a BootROM exploit-based Jailbreak like Limera1n and RedSn0w Jailbreak back in the days. This also means it cannot be patched by Apple so it will support future iOS versions as well, and it also means this jailbreak is semi-tethered, so you WILL need a computer every time you reboot your device.

In this video, I am going to show you how to uninstall/remove the Unc0ver Jailbreak in preparation for switching to the CheckRa1n Jailbreak which will be released in just a couple of hours by the CheckRa1n team at the PoC (Power Of Community) 2019 in Seoul. This is going to be the first iOS Jailbreak based on a powerful BootROM exploit in 10 years, making it THE MOST powerful Jailbreak in existence for iOS.
Please do keep in mind that switching from Unc0ver is in no way mandatory; The Unc0ver is powerful and does its job well, and it also comes with a big advantage - it is semi-untethered compared to the semi-tethered #CheckRa1n which requires a computer to re-enable the jailbreak after a reboot. Of course, the CheckRa1n supports iOS 13, but you should keep in mind that it only works on iPhone X and lower. A12 and A13 devices such as the iPhone XS or the iPhone 11 are not supported by CheckRa1n.
Rumors have it that initially, the CheckRa1n will be macOS only, so I would not remove #Unc0ver just yet if you don't have a Mac or a macOS machine. Windows and Linux versions will come, but it may take some time.

| iOS 13.2 / 13.1.3 JAILBREAK (A12 Too) News: Cydia Impactor Broken & iOS 13.1.3 dead. |

In this video, we're going to discuss some important changes for the Jailbreak community coming straight from Apple. Just a few hours ago Apple has unsigned iOS 13.1.3, iOS 13.1.2 and iOS 12.4.2 leaving only iOS 13.2 signed for the compatible devices. The change is important as there is currently no tfp0 kernel exploit or any kernel bug released for iOS 13.2, but there is a kernel bug released for iOS 13.1.3 and lower. It's very important to stay on the right version, especially if you have an A12 or A13 device (iPhone XS / XR or newer).
At the same time, Apple has changed something server-side which broke both ReProvision and #Cydia Impactor making it impossible to side-load IPA files on iOS until these are fixed. While the creator of ReProvision acknowledged the issue and said he will update his tool once he has time as he's currently traveling, for Cydia Impactor things aren't so good. It has to be updated by saurik because it is closed source, and since saurik hasn't been very active in the jailbreak community lately, it's kinda hard to tell when we'll get that update. Hopefully soon. Do not remove your signed Unc0ver / Chimera IPAs from the device for now.
For those of you who have an iPhone X or lower, the CheckRa1n Jailbreak will be released tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, and it will very likely support iOS 13.2, so no worries there. A12 and A13 people should wait for Unc0ver to be updated once tfp0 is available.

I have created my CFW with all necessary patches. For a 64-bit device, using a Mac with 10.3 or 10.4 what software would be the option to upload it to my checkm8 compatible device. idevicerestore seems to want to restore from older ipsw configurations. would mocking the config with a newer firmware work or is there a branch/fork i'm unaware of?

| iOS 13.2 / 13.0 / 12 CheckRa1n JAILBREAK: Can You Switch From Unc0ver / Chimera |

In today's video, we're answering a question I've got quite a lot: can you switch from #Unc0ver Jailbreak for iOS 11 to iOS 12.4 or from Chimera / Electra Jailbreak to #CheckRa1n jailbreak when it comes out in 2 days? This is a question people have because they're already jailbroken, already have tweaks installed and since CheckRa1n is a different jailbreak with different requirements and a very different style of deployment, it makes sense to be concerned.
In this video, we also clarify whether it is worth even attempting to switch from Unc0ver, Chimera or Electra to CheckRa1n and what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing so for people who are already jailbroken with a semi-untethered Jailbreak. As you are probably aware, CheckRa1n will be a semi-tethered jailbreak that does come with a few limitations and drawbacks. It's also a very powerful jailbreak, unpatchable and compatible with the latest iOS version which at this moment is iOS 13.2.

Latest FutureRestore Compiled For macOS (GeoSn0w) |

Since compiling @tihmstar's work is never an easy task due to heavy use of dependencies and due to very specific setup requirements, I've decided to compile and upload the macOS version of the FutureRestore tool which is basically being used to downgrade iOS devices with saved SHSH2 blobs. The tool is available in compiled form on his GitHub but the available version dates back to October 2017 and it's version 152. Way too old and it doesn't contain the latest fixes and updates.
So this compiled version is basically compiled from the latest FutureRestore Source Code on GitHub and it's the version 171. The original license has also been included, as well as the source code to comply with the LGPL license.
What if you wanna compile it yourself?
If you wanna compile @tihmstar's FutureRestore, make sure you have HomeBrew installed on your Mac. You will need to install a ton of dependencies. Some of them cannot be found on HomeBrew, they are part of @tihmstar's GitHub. These include: libfragmentzip, tsschecker, img4tool, liboffsetfinder64, libipatcher, all of which have to be compiled manually from source and "sudo make install"-ed before you attempt to compile FutureRestore.
Not to mention you have to get libirecovery and libimobiledevice and compile them manually from source, then "sudo make install" them before FutureRestore would compile.
You should also Git Clone recursively every component. For example: "git clone --recursive <link>".
You know you have successfully set up your machine for proper compilation when running FutureRestore's autogen.sh gives you this:
![[Image: 1.png]](https://i.ibb.co/7rjdHs9/1.png)
At this point, if everything is fine, you can run "sudo make" and it would compile FutureRestore as such:
Running the file command on the output "futurerestore" file should say it's a Mach-O 64-Bit executable.

And such, FutureRestore is compiled.
DOWNLOAD Latest FutureRestore Compiled:
If you cannot compile your own for whatever reason, I have compiled the latest version for you and it's available here
>>DOWNLOAD FUTURERESTORE<<
* NOTE: This is @tihmstar's version from HIS fork which doesn't include S0thwest's patches/work. If you want that, check out S0thwest's repo.
P.S. This is dynamically linked. You need to have the dependencies installed on the computer, otherwise it will error out.

i downloaded img4tool from https://github.com/tihmstar/img4tool.git but once i downloaded it, the img4tool is a folder and not a unix file? can anyone help me? im watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA5pogxROks&t=29sand he has his img4tool as a unix file and not a folder. i downloaded a separate img4tool that was compiled and it seems to be a unix file.. i followed the instructions on the video using chmod 775 and dragging and dropping the img4 and the img4tool. and after that, i changed the directory and did cd and dragged the pwndfu-master folder into the terminal. once i dragged it in the terminal i did ./ipwndfu -p to run it right? so after i run it i usually get an error. its supposed to say, "device is already in pwned DFU Mode" but mine says it's not in the DFU mode when i got it in the dfu mode... the video also says that if the itunes recovery mode thing pops up, you're in recovery mode and your screen would be black. So I am certain that i'm in the DFU mode but it tells me that i'm not in the DFU mode, please help!
