Star iOS 14.0.1 / 14 JAILBREAK: Can CheckRa1n Be Updated For A12 / A13? (Explained)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-14-2020, 01:12 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - Replies (2)

Today we're discussing whether the CheckRa1n Jailbreak can be updated to support A12 and A13 devices in any way. The A13 and A12 devices, are iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 / SE 2020. By default CheckRa1n only supports iPhone X and lower (A11 and lower), so would it be to somehow update CheckRa1n in the future to work with the rest of the devices as well? Maybe!

You see, CheckRa1n Jailbreak is built on top of CheckM8, a very powerful bootrom exploit that cannot be patched by Apple that was released by developer @axi0mX. While the memory leak has been patched by Apple on A12, the UaF was not, thus leaving a small possibility for CheckRa1n.

Star iOS 14.0.1 / 14.0 JAILBREAK NEWS: CheckRa1n Achieved On More Devices (With SSH) & SEP Explained!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-13-2020, 04:10 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we're talking about the #CheckRa1n Jailbreak in the context of iOS 14.0.1 and iOS 14.0. As you're probably aware, iOS 14 is not fully supported on all devices that CheckRa1n Jailbreak supports, and therefore, for now, only A9 and A9X devices can be jailbroken with this on iOS 14. Today I have some great news to tell you about, as more devices have been successfully jailbroken with CheckRa1n on iOS 14 and the research is ongoing.

The main cause of CheckRa1n not working on all supported devices when it comes to iOS 14 is SEP. Apple hardened the SEP (Secure Enclave Processor) in iOS 14 to prevent CheckRa1n from working and new research is required to fix the issues. In this video, I am also explaining what SEP is and how it prevents CheckRa1n from fully working, and what a developer in the community managed to achieve yesterday.

Star iOS 14.0.1 / 14 / 13.7 / 12 - How to Recover Data From iPhone and iPad / iTunes Backup With UltData
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-12-2020, 08:57 PM - Forum: Useful Tools and Utilities - No Replies

Losing your data, whether by accidental deletion or because of software malfunction is never a great experience. In today's video, I am reviewing a software called UltData by Tenorshare. It's a software created for iOS to aid in the recovery of photos, contacts, videos, notes, reminders, etc. It can recover from the device directly (if data is still recoverable and hasn't been permanently overwritten), from iTunes backup (a feature iTunes does not offer), from iCloud backup, or from social media apps like WeChat and so on.

The tool is focused around beginner-level users, with not a lot of technical knowledge who may wanna attempt extracting data from backups themselves. From my tests, the tool works fine with iOS 14.0.1 (currently the latest version), and lower, but also with the latest iOS devices such as iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone XR, iPhone SE 2020, and so on. In the video, I show you step by step how to use the software on macOS.

Star How To Get Odyssey JAILBREAK NO COMPUTER & Tweaked Apps Using AppValley VIP (NO REVOKES)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-11-2020, 10:08 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, I will show you how to get the Odyssey Jailbreak for iOS 13.0 up to iOS 13.5 on all iOS devices (including iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, and iPhone SE 2020 as well as older devices), right from the device without needing a computer and without revokes. This is useful if you do not own a computer and you want an on-device method.

To do this, we're using a paid service called AppValley VIP. This video is NOT sponsored by them, and this is an honest review after using the service for a while. AppValley also has a free component that is also No PC, but it's prone to revokes which makes the apps installed to stop working after a few days (this is caused by Apple). The VIP version automatically re-signs them immediately. The Odyssey Jailbreak is an alternative to Unc0ver Jailbreak and comes with Sileo instead of Cydia.

Upgrade to unsigned iOS version (have BLOBS and Checkra1n)
Posted by: steliosaa - 10-11-2020, 07:21 PM - Forum: iOS Downgrade Corner - Replies (4)

Hello,

I have an iPad Air 2 (Wifi)
Device Identifier: iPad5,3
Board Config: j81ap
on iOS 13.5.1
running Checkra1n 0.11.0

I didn't update to 13.7 or 14 as I didn't know if it will be worth it.

I have the blobs from 11.3.1 until 14.0.1

I think the best idea is to upgrade from 13.5.1 to 13.7.
What do you think and how shall I do this?
Is there any noncesetter for A8X (i believe this is what i have) on iOS 13.5.1 checkra1n?

And shall I update to 14.0.1 instead since it is supported by checkra1n for my device? Geosnow said to avoid iOS 14 even on checkrain devices due to the extra security measures added (but I don't understand why if checkra1n already supports it for my device?) Can someone explain?

Another reason I do not want to update to 14.0.1 and go instead to 13.7 is due to compatibility reasons. I do not want to lose my tweaks. So shall I go to 13.7 via noncesetter, 14.0.1 or remain on 13.5.1?

Thank you in advance!

Star iOS 14.0.1 / 14 / 13.7 - 13.5.1 JAILBREAK: When To Expect It (A12 / A13) & Best iOS Versions For It!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-11-2020, 05:51 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - Replies (1)

In this video, we're discussing the best iOS version to be on if you wanna jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch as soon as possible, especially on A12 and A13 devices, we're discussing the new iPhone 12 coming in a few days at the Apple Event, and we're also discussing the estimated time of release for the jailbreaks (highly estimated).

This is an update video to ensure all of you are on the proper iOS version, as downgrades are not possible. The landscape changes every day in the jailbreak community, and therefore I try to keep you updated as much as I can. The new iPhone 12 will very likely feature the new A14 chip demonstrated by Apple a few weeks ago on the September 15 event on the new iPads, and it will therefore be a challenge for the Jailbreak community. Couple that with the fact that the new iPhone 12 will likely come with iOS 14.2 by default, and that's not looking good. If you are planning to get a new iPhone 12 when it releases in 2 days, do keep in mind jailbreaking it will likely take months.

Star iOS 14 / 13.7 / 13.6.1 JAILBREAK NEWS: TFP0 Exploit RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED! & What To Do For iOS 14!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-09-2020, 09:23 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)]In this video, I have huge news for those of you waiting for iOS 13.7, iOS 13.6.1, iOS 13.6, and iOS 13.5.1 jailbreak on A12 / A13 devices and lower. We finally know when developer @08Tc3wBB will release their tfp0 kernel exploit usable to update the Unc0ver Jailbreak and under what circumstances. In this video, we're also clarifying what you should do if you already updated to iOS 14.0 or iOS 14.0.1 and you wanna Jailbreak soon.

As it turns out, we are indeed, getting a release from developer @08Tc3wBB, as they confirmed to me via DMs a while ago. The exploit will receive a public presentation in which the details, security aspects, technical details, and so on will be outlined. With this exploit, we can update the Unc0ver jailbreak for iOS 13.7 and lower on all devices, including iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and SE 2020.

Star iOS 14.0.1 / 14.0 / 13.7 / 13.5.1 - MOST ESSENTIAL Free TWEAKS To Install After JAILBREAK
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-08-2020, 01:33 AM - Forum: Jailbreak Setups - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing some of the most essential Cydia / Zebra / Sileo Tweaks to install after jailbreaking on iOS 14.0.1, iOS 14.0, iOS 13.7, iOS 13.6, iOS 13.5.1, and so on. These tweaks are useful in many cases and you'll often bump into them when following various guides to fix stuff or to modify something on your jailbroken device. These are recommended regardless of the device you have and regardless of the iOS version.

These tweaks are all completely free, fully updated to support the latest jailbreaks available (including iOS 14 for CheckRa1n), and I would recommend installing them and placing them in a special folder on the Home Screen because they are the essential tools that help you fix your jailbreak, run commands, run themes, etc.
