iOS 13.7 / 13.6.1 / 13.5.1 tfp0 Kernel Exploit RELEASED! (Usable For Jailbreak) A12/A13 Too! |

In today's video, we're discussing the latest tfp0 Kernel Exploit release by @_simo36. They released a PoC tfp0 Kernel exploit compatible with iOS 13.7, iOS 13.6.1, iOS 13.6, and iOs 13.5.1 (and possibly lower) which can be used for jailbreak purposes if polished a bit. This is what we needed for a 13.7 and lower jailbreak, a tfp0 kernel exploit. This does work on A12 / A13.
While not perfect (not very reliable, especially on A12 and A13 devices), I assume it is polishable to get it to better reliability. Otherwise, this can be used for Unc0ver, although developer @_simo36 doesn't recommend it in the state it's currently in, as it may leave the device in an unstable state. More work to clean it up and improve reliability is needed, but it's a huge start, especially since the exploit is open source and anybody can contribute with fixes and improvements.

NEW iOS 14.2 / 14.1 / 14.0 FutureRestore RELEASED! For Downgrades / Jailbreak Purposes With SHSH2 |

If you are interested in downgrading your iOS device, or you wanna be able to update to the next jailbroken version in the future, a brand new version of FutureRestore was released. This tool takes advantage of the SHSH2 blobs you saved while an iOS version was still signed and allows you to downgrade back to that version if certain conditions are met. This allows you to downgrade/upgrade to a jailbreakable version in the future.
Of course, downgrades are not possible (at least not untethered ones) without saved SHSH2 blobs, so it's a good practice to save them while you can. Right now, at the time I am making this video, iOS 14.2 and iOS 14.1 are signed. Between the two, iOS 14.1 is definitely better for a future jailbreak, so I would advise you to save the blobs, now that FutureRestore for iOS 14 is released.

iOS 14.2 / 14.1 / 14 HUGE JAILBREAK RELEASE: CheckRa1n For iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 7, 7 Plus, etc |

In today's video, I am pleased to announce that CheckRa1n Jailbreak for iOS 14.2, iOS 14.1, iOS 14.0.1, and iOS 14.0 has been released with full support for A10 and A10X devices (like iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPod Touch 7), and experimental support for A11 devices (iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X). All of these can now be jailbroken on iOS 14.2 and lower with Cydia and Tweaks fully working.
For the A11 devices, support is currently experimental. You cannot set a passcode and cannot activate Touch ID or Face ID yet. CheckRa1n will be updated in the future with better support for A11, but if you need it, it's there. The new CheckRa1n includes a BPR check bypass for A11 devices which you need to toggle if you want to jailbreak iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X. As always, CheckRa1n is only available on macOS and Linux.

iOS 14.2 - IMPORTANT Changes For JAILBREAK & How To Save SHSH2 Blobs For iOS 14.1! (Do It Now!) |

In this video, we're discussing what is new in iOS 14.2 that was recently released by Apple, and how it affects jailbreaking, especially for those of you using the newer iPhone models such as the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and the iPhone XS and XR series. Compared to the previous two iOS versions, the iOS 14.1 and iOS 14.0.1, this time around the changes are significant and pretty important for the jailbreak community. I advise everyone to save their iOS 14.1 SHSH2 blobs.
iOS 14.2, unlike iOS 14.1 and iOS 14.0.1, patches a plethora of Kernel vulnerabilities for Google Project Zero, many of which are likely going to be released in the future as Google Project Zero usually tends to do. These are all patched in iOS 14.2 and have been acknowledged by various security researchers. Updating to iOS 14.2 would be a major mistake if you're planning to jailbreak, but if you favor security instead of the ability to jailbreak, iOS 14.2 is a solid security release with major patches for exploits known in the wild.

iOS 14.2 / 14.1 / 14.0 JAILBREAK Great NEWS: New Kernel Bug PoC RELEASED & Exploits Coming Soon! |

Apple has released iOS 14.2 only a day ago, and it has already proven to be an interesting release for the iOS Jailbreak community. A few hours after the official iOS 14.2 release, developer @_simo36 has released a Kernel Bug PoC (Proof Of Concept) reachable from within the Sandbox, while ZecOps announced that they're releasing a Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) one very soon.
iOS 14.2 is, however, the bad version to be on right now, because of how many vulnerabilities are patched. However, if security is what means more to you than jailbreak, you should definitely update, because according to ZecOps, a few important vulnerabilities found in the wild have been patched. For those of you who wanna jailbreak, stay as low as possible and save SHSH2 blobs for iOS 14.1 because it will likely stop being available soon.

iOS 14.2 / 14.1 / 14.0 JAILBREAK GOOD NEWS: New A12 / A13 Kernel Exploit With R/W Privs ACHIEVED! |

For those of you interested in jailbreaking iOS 14, up to iOS 14.2 (currently in Release Candidate Beta), a brand new kernel exploit has been achieved on A12 / A13 devices (and implicitly older ones too), by Luca Todesco, one of the developers behind CheckRa1n jailbreak. The exploit allowed him to get Kernel Read and Write (R/W) privileges on A12 (A13 too as they are the same, mostly). This is usable for a jailbreak.
Of course, this has been achieved on iOS 14.2 which is currently Apple's most recent iOS firmware to date. iOS 14.2 is in Beta 4 considered Release Candidate (RC), which means it won't be long before iOS 14.2 becomes the latest public stable release phasing out iOS 14.1 which is currently signed. Todesco's achievement is a big one, but there is no word on any releases, for now, so do not update to iOS 14.2 and stay as low as possible.

iOS 14.1 / 14.0.1 / 14 JAILBREAK: CheckRa1n MORE Devices Support Patch RELEASED & DON'T USE IT! |

In today's video, we're discussing the release of the CheckRa1n patch that enables support for A10 and A11 devices (allegedly). The patch was released and then removed by developer @exploit3dguy, for iOS 14.1 and iOS 14.0 and it has sparked some issues in the jailbreak community. In this video, I will also let you know why you shouldn't use it.
The patch does nothing but to skip a check that the CheckRa1n Jailbreak team has to prevent jailbreaking these devices because of a serious security issue, and that is the inability to enable Passcode, Touch ID, Face ID, or password for your lock screen if you use the patch. It's an issue that CheckRa1n is working on and thus why they never released this version to the public. Of course, @exploit3dguy released it without CheckRa1n's approval and it's therefore not recommended because it is unofficial.
