Star iOS 14.0.1 / 14.0.1 BIG JAILBREAK NEWS! New PAC Bypass and New Exploit ACHIEVED! (A12 / A13 Too)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-06-2020, 08:25 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, I have yet again some great news to share with you about the iOS 14.0.1 and iOS 14.0 jailbreak, particularly for the A12 and A13 devices (iPhone XS all the way up to iPhone 11 and iPhone SE 2020), but not only. A brand new LPE-based exploit has been achieved and a brand new PAC bypass has been achieved, both very useful for a jailbreak.

PAC stands for Pointer Authentication Codes and it has been first introduced on Apple devices with the A12 chip, on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR (as well as the pro iPad tablets that used a similar chip). It's meant to prevent ROP and JOP (Return-Oriented-Programming and Jump-Oriented-Programing), which breaks things on jailbreaks.

Star iOS 14.0.1 / 14.0 JAILBREAK Great News! Kernel Exploit To Be Released After Patch!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-05-2020, 12:48 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

Following yesterday's pretty sad news, today we have some great news about the future of the iOS 14.0 and iOS 14.0.1 Jailbreak on A12 and A13 devices, but not only. I talked with the people at ABC Research. As you remember, they were the first to jailbreak iOS 14.0 Beta. It looks like we might get their exploit once it gets patched by Apple.

They will send me more details about the exploit, what it can do and what we can use it for, but in private DMs with me, they have confirmed they are going to provide the full details about their exploit once Apple patches it. We don't know when exactly will that be, but at least we'll get something. Still, I highly recommend staying on iOS 13.7 and lower for now.

Exclamation iOS 14.0.1 / 14.0 / 13.7 JAILBREAK: VERY BAD NEWS! Do Not Update! (Explained)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-04-2020, 12:33 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - Replies (1)

Today I have pretty sad news for the jailbreak community on iOS 14, iOS 14.0.1, and iOS 13.7 and the most recent versions, as one of the biggest iOS exploit developers who used to release a lot of great jailbreak components that were used in Unc0ver, Chimera, and other such jailbreak during the years is departing the community. This is a very bad day for the iOS Jailbreak community and we'll have consequences in the form of longer waiting times for new jailbreaks.

Brandon Azad has announced a few hours ago his departure from Google Project Zero, and thus from any public exploit releases for iOS / Apple devices, as they are joining Apple next week to work on the security of Apple's devices. This is very good news for Brandon and we're very happy for their achievement, but it's bittersweet happiness because Apple now has the advantage of having one of the best security researchers that used to help our community. A lot will change. iOS Security will improve in the coming months thanks to Brandon and this will make our life much harder. Do not update to iOS 14 and be prepared.

Exclamation iOS 14.0.1 / 14 / 13.7 / 13.5.1 JAILBREAK IMPORTANT And BAD News! | All You Need To Know (Explained)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-01-2020, 11:38 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

Today we're discussing the latest developments and news about iOS 14.0.1, iOS 14.0, and iOS 13.7 all the way down to iOS 13.5.1 Jailbreak. We, unfortunately have some bad news for iOS 14, and in this video, I will explain which iOS version is better and why. Today's events impact notably the jailbreak community and staying on the right version is crucial, especially on A12 and A13 devices.

While Unc0ver jailbreak will soon get a new tfp0-enabled exploit to be updated for iOS 13.7 and lower, iOS 14 remains in a particularly bad spot right now, especially since today Apple stopped signing iOS 14.0 altogether, making downgrades impossible. We're also discussing what is App Attest introduced by Apple in iOS 14 and how it will impact iOS Cydia Tweaks.

Star iOS 14.0.1 / 14 / 13.7 / 13 Jailbreak: How To Fix MOST Cydia Errors / CheckRa1n Issues (Tutorial)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-01-2020, 07:42 PM - Forum: Jailbreak Help - No Replies

In today's video, I will show you how to fix most iOS Jailbreak issues with Cydia or the jailbreak in general on CheckRa1n, iOS 14.0.1, iOS 14.0, iOS 13.7, iOS 13.6.1, iOS 13.6, and so on all the way down to iOS 12. Errors like DPKG_LOCKED in Cydia can easily be fixed by following this video. This can also fix the issue if you jailbroke with both Unc0ver and CheckRa1n and you're having issues installing tweaks.

Please do keep in mind that this method does remove your installed tweaks, so make sure you have a backup of their names available for later. The method involves uninstalling the jailbreak completely and bringing the device to a clean unjailbroken state so you can re-jailbreak it from scratch.

Star NEW iOS 13.7 / 13.6.1 / 13.5.1 JAILBREAK ANNOUNCED & NEW Jailbreak Team | RELEASE SOON
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-30-2020, 02:14 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing some brand new developments in the iOS jailbreak community. The #FreeTheSandbox movement has announced just hours ago their intention to release a brand new iOS 13.7 and lower Jailbreak and a new Jailbreak Team. The jailbreak is likely to work with A12 and A13 devices too.

As far as I know, the #FreeTheSandbox initiative was started by ZecOps, a security-focused company with interests in iOS security. They have found a large number of iOS bugs and vulnerabilities before, including the dreaded Mail bug from iOS 13.4.x and older a few months ago. It's interesting to see them wanna form a brand new jailbreak team and drop a new jailbreak soon.

Star How To Install Unc0ver JAILBREAK And Odyssey JAILBREAK NO COMPUTER With AppValley VIP (No Revokes)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-29-2020, 12:08 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

As you are probably aware, the Unc0ver Jailbreak and the Odyssey Jailbreak come in the .IPA format which requires you to sign it using a computer and an Apple Developer account before you can side-load it to your device. This is inconvenient and requires a computer which not everyone has. AppValley's VIP option which is powered by Signulous nowadays is pretty amazing, requires no computer and if it gets revoked it signs itself back right away without your intervention.

This puts the AppValley VIP head and shoulders above the free AppValley version which gets a lot of revokes and once revoked, you have to wait days and weeks for apps to be re-signed. The VIP AppValley is indeed a paid service, but it's of much better quality. The service is $25 per year, but compared to an Apple Developer account which is $100 and requires a computer, this is quite ok in my opinion.

Star iOS 14.0 / 13.7 / 13.5.1 IMPORTANT JAILBREAK News & New RCE Exploit RELEASED Publicly!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-28-2020, 07:30 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing the latest iOS 14.0, iOS 13.7, iOS 13.6.1, iOS 13.6, and iOS 13.5.1 JAILBREAK updates for A12 and A13 devices. I have talked once again with developer @08Tc3wBB and learned new things related to iOS 14 support about their upcoming exploit. Also, a brand new RCE exploit was released by @DanyL931 and @pimskeks which supports iOS 13.7 and lower.

As it turns out, the exploit, although patched in iOS 14.0, may STILL be updatable for iOS 14.0. Only one important component was patched in iOS 14.0, not the whole thing. I have asked @08Tc3wBB via private DMs whether the exploit can have that broken/patched component replaced to make it work on iOS 14.0 and the answer was indeed surprising. Note that this video applies mostly for iPhone XS, iPhone Xs Plus, iPhone 11, SE 2020, etc, but it's not limited to them. Older ones are indeed included.

As I discovered when I contacted @@08Tc3wBB, they are going to release an exploit that will allow Unc0ver Jailbreak to be updated for sure, for iOS 13.7 and lower. As for iOS 14, if the broken component can be replaced, we might make it work there too.
