Heart iOS 13.7 / 13.6.1 / 13.5.1 JAILBREAK (A13 / A12 too) IS READY FOR TESTING & More News!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-29-2020, 03:24 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we're discussing the latest iOS 13.7, iOS 13.6.1, iOS 13.6, and iOS 13.5.1 Jailbreak news for iPhone 11, iPhone XS / XR, iPhone X, and lower. The #FreeTheSandbox movement seems to have achieved a testing-ready jailbreak and they are seeking testers on various versions. We may not need to wait until December for a jailbreak, after all.

The #FreeTheSandbox has been working on a jailbreak for iOS 13.5.1 up to iOS 13.7 since September when they first announced it. Their jailbreak tool seems to now be in a late-stage where they are seeking people that can test it using Xcode and a Mac on various devices. This is actually quite good because this means that we don't need to wait until December when Unc0ver will be updated.

Star iOS 14.1/ 14.0.1 / 14 HUGE JAILBREAK NEWS: ROOT And Kernel Exploit Achieved Even On iPhone 12!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-25-2020, 09:32 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I have some huge news to discuss regarding the status of the iPhone 12 Jailbreak, and lower, on iOS 14. Major progress has been achieved by two developers in the community. Sparkey, the security researcher who has developed Meridian Jailbreak, has achieved ROOT and Read / Write primitives on iOS 14.1 on iPhone 12. Jndok, another security researcher in the iOS community has also achieved a similar feat on the A14 chip.

This is a massive event considering that iPhone 12 has only been released for a few weeks. With a new chip (A14 in this case), there is always a possibility that Apple can introduce new mitigations to prevent jailbreak. This trend has been observed in the past years since the A12 chip which introduced PAC or Pointer Authentication Codes on iPhone XS / XR series. To see that ROOT has already been achieved on iPhone 12 and the new A14 chip is truly astonishing.

Heart iOS 14.1 / 14.0 / 13.7 IMPORTANT JAILBREAK NEWS: CheckRa1n A10 + FreeTheSandBox JB (A12 / A13 Too)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-23-2020, 04:30 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we're discussing some important news about the CheckRa1n Jailbreak (due to receive an important devices support updates for iOS 14), and we're also discussing #FreeTheSandbox' jailbreak for iOS 13.7 and lower (A13 and A12 too) as we have some new info available.

For those of you interested in CheckRa1n, we will soon get an important update containing support for the A10 devices which include, but are not limited to, the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPod Touch 7th Generation, as well as the iPad which have the A10 Chip. According to a CheckRa1n developer, we are pretty close to the release.

  iOS 14.1 / 14 / 13.7 - Tweak iOS Applications Without JAILBREAK | NEW iPAPatcher TOOL RELEASED!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-21-2020, 04:28 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I will demonstrate a brand new tool created by developer Brandon Plank, called IPAPatcher which allows one to tweak iOS applications without being jailbroken by adding dylibs or deb components to an IPA application file. The tool allows a high degree of app customization akin to what a jailbreak would achieve (to some degree).

The tool can tweak applications that are compatible with iOS 14.1 and lower, iOS 13.7 and lower, and even iOS 12. It's currently only available for macOS, but I've proposed the developer to also make a Linux version and they said they'll try. For those who don't have a Mac, a virtual machine can be used.

Star What JAILBREAK Should You Use? Unc0ver, Odyssey or CheckRa1n? How to Keep It Working FAST!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-18-2020, 08:49 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing which jailbreak for iOS is better, which one you should use, and whatever jailbreak you decide to use, how to make it work fast and reliable on iOS 13, iOS 14, and so on, across all devices. We're mostly discussing Odyssey, Unc0ver, and CheckRa1n.

There has been a long debate amongst the community about which jailbreak is better, faster, more stable, etc. Camps are somehow divided and tend to defend their favorite jailbreak tool, being it either Unc0ver or Odyssey. Both camps seem to somehow be neutral towards CheckRa1n. In this video, I aim to clarify how one should choose the jailbreak tool they use and why.

Star How To JAILBREAK iOS 14.1 GM / iOS 14.0.1 / iOS 14 With Tweaks (Select Devices) & iOS 14.2 News!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-17-2020, 02:03 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

This video is a CheckRa1n Jailbreak Tutorial. Unfortunately, it does not fit in the title, but the select devices supported right now are iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad 5th generation, iPad Pro 1st generation, iPad Air 2, Apple TV 4, and 4K, and we expect to get support for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus as well as the iPod Touch 7th Generation in the near future.

iOS 14.1 GM which will become out of beta and publicly available very soon is already jailbreakable with the CheckRa1n, however, iOS 14.2 Beta 3 shows an unpleasant surprise. CheckRa1n appears to be broken on iOS 14.2 Beta 3 and it's therefore recommended to avoid it for now. As for more device support for CheckRa1n, once the SEP issue is fixed, we expect more devices to be supported.

Star iOS 14.2 - 14 - How To Save SHSH2 Blobs For DOWNGRADE & JAILBREAK Without Computer (A12 / A13 Too!)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-16-2020, 12:56 AM - Forum: iOS Downgrade Corner - Replies (1)

In today's video, I will show you how to save the SHSH2 blobs for downgrade and jailbreak purposes on all devices, including the A12 and A13 ones, without a PC, directly from your device. For this, we're using a tweak called System Info. It's able to save SHSH2 blobs right from your Settings app on iOS.

SHSH2 blobs are a must if you are planning to downgrade for jailbreak purposes in the future. You can only save them while a specific iOS version is signed, and usually, when a version is signed it is not jailbreakable. However, by the time it becomes jailbreakable, it's no longer signed by Apple so upgrades and downgrades to that version become impossible. If you have SHSH2 blobs saved while it was signed, you can downgrade and upgrade to it freely as long as SEP and Baseband are compatible. It's highly recommended to save your blobs.

Video Most Important iOS 14 Features To Update For & How To Install iOS 14 With Dr.Fone (For Beginners)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 10-15-2020, 09:05 AM - Forum: General iOS Discussion - No Replies

In this video, I will show you some of the biggest changes in iOS 14 and iOS 14.0.1 that you may want to consider before updating. These are some of my favorite features Apple added in iOS 14 (likely inspired by jailbroken devices running tweaks), and I will also show you how to use Dr.Fone, a tool created by Wondershare, to update safely to iOS 14 with just a few clicks.

This video is mostly geared towards beginner iOS uses. If you are interested in jailbreaking your device, you should not update to iOS 14 no matter how much you like its features. Most of the User Interface changes on iOS 14 can be achieved on a jailbroken device, so please wait. If you're NOT interested in jailbreaking your device, but you do want to have the latest and greatest iOS version, or you're interested in staying on the most secure version available, iOS 14.0.1 is currently the latest available and you may update to it.

  Network power saving?
Posted by: rootclaws - 10-14-2020, 05:16 PM - Forum: Jailbreak Help - Replies (2)

I jailbroke my iPoder touch yesterday, and found out it is actually a Unix terminal server.  Haha.

The problem is that the iPod shuts down the Wifi network in less than a minute if you are not using the screen.  I suppose this is to save power, but it also happens when the device is plugged in to the charger.  What can I do to change this?

I don't want it to shut down the network while I'm using the remote terminal.
