Exclamation iOS 15.0 - 15.1.1 JAILBREAK News: MiniRootFileManager15 RELEASED!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-29-2022, 04:54 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

▶ Unlock Forgotten iPhone Screen with AnyUnlock (ad)

In today's video, I have some great news for all of you waiting on iOS 15 for a jailbreak. Developer @akusio_RR announced the release of their MiniRootFileManager15 file manager for iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.1.1 on A12+ devices. This is a direct alternative to FilzaEscaped and FilzaJailed and allows you to manage the files on your device in the same way.

MiniRootFileManager15 is currently in development (WIP), but as the development progresses, the developer said their File Manager will work better than FilzaEscaped and will crash much less.

Star New Safari / WebKit JAILBREAK Is Being Developed! (Jailbreak Without PC) - iOS 14.0 and Newer
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-27-2022, 07:14 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

▶ Unlock Forgotten iPhone Screen with AnyUnlock (ad)

In today's video, we're discussing the latest news in the jailbreak community. It appears that a new jailbreak developer has started developing a Safari-based jailbreak based on the original PwnMy project which was abandoned many months ago. The developer, Kanji, has recently posted their current progress and it appears they are targeting to support iOS 14.5 and newer versions for now.

The jailbreak is likely going to be iOS 14.5 - 14.6 for now as they are developing it, but there are WebKit vulnerabilities in iOS 15 that could potentially be used to update the jailbreak tool further if they succeed. It's important to mention that for now, the project is not in an advanced state. They managed to get the WebKit bug working, but it's a long way from here. I will keep you updated with their progress as it goes, just know they are working on it for now.

Star iOS 15.0 - 15.5 How To Change Location Without Jailbreak (For Games and Apps) using iAnyGo
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-26-2022, 02:33 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

▶ Try Tenorshare iAnyGo (ad)

In today's video, I will show you how you can easily change your iPhone's GPS location so that you can simulate other locations for applications and games that use the location services on your device. This can be very useful if you're playing games that require location and movement, or for privacy reasons on social media apps or applications that track your location.

iAnyGo allows you to easily change the location to a fixed point, or simulate driving or walking from one location to several others. iAnyGo works both on Windows and macOS, and it is compatible with all iOS devices running iOS 12 and newer. Once you spoof the location on your iPhone using iAnyGo, all applications that check your location, including Maps, Weather, and games will reflect the new location from iAnyGo. These changes persist until you reboot your phone.

Star iOS 15.0 - 15.4 JAILBREAK Is Coming Soon For Certain Devices! (Latest Jailbreak News)

In today's video, we're discussing the latest news in the iOS Jailbreak community, as security researcher and developer Coolstar has teased an iOS 15.0 - 15.1.1, and very likely 15.2+ jailbreak on her iPod Touch. The jailbreak appears to be running Sileo and from my understanding, it is based on checkm8, which is the same bug used by CheckRa1n Team to achieve their jailbreak tool, only that this works on iOS 15.

Delving deeper into this news, we find out that Tihmstar is the developer of this tool. Tihmstar is a member of Coolstar's Odyssey Team, so it's likely they are working together on this. This jailbreak is likely to be rootless, and it may be released soon as it seems to have Sileo fully working and has been teased as an upcoming release recently.

In today's video, I will show you how to back up your SHSH2 tickets / blobs for iOS 15.5, iOS 15.5 Beta, and even iOS 15.6 Beta. You should always save your SHSH2 tickets because these can be used to downgrade / update in the future even if those versions aren't signed anymore. You may want to do this in the future if a jailbreak gets released and you're on the wrong firmware.

SHSH2 tickets are personalized for your device so you cannot use somebody else's SHSH2 blobs. You must save your own while the iOS version in cause is still signed by Apple. iOS 15, although hard to jailbreak, is full of vulnerabilities which means you should definitely keep your SHSH2 blobs saved for when a jailbreak gets released.

Heart iOS 15.0 - 15.5 Jailbreak Achieved & RELEASE PLANNED! New Rootless JAILBREAK With Tweaks (pre-A12)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-16-2022, 03:35 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

▶ Unlock Forgotten iPhone Screen with AnyUnlock (ad)

If you were waiting for a while for CheckRa1n jailbreak to be updated to support iOS 15, you will be happy to hear that Taurine Team developer tihmstar has successfully achieved a checkra1n-like jailbreak that works on iOS 15 thanks to the rootless approach.

A rootless jailbreak essentially doesn't remount the Root File System, so the System partition remains Read-Only. However, the /var partition is Read-Write so we can just update the tweaks and themes to install there which would allow the jailbreak to be created. Developer Siguza has also confirmed that CheckRa1n Team is still working on checkra1n for iOS 15, but they don't want to go with the rootless approach.

Star iOS 15.0 - 15.4.1 Great JAILBREAK News: iOS 15.4.1 Kernel Bug Was RELEASED!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-16-2022, 02:35 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

▶ Unlock Forgotten iPhone Screen with AnyUnlock

In today's video, we have some interesting news coming from security researcher Ned Williamson of Google Project Zero. They've successfully achieved and released an iOS 15.4.1 and lower kernel vulnerability which could be used for a jailbreak. According to security researcher Ned Williamson, they will also present a brand new technique at BlackHat 2022.

This vulnerability could prove useful for jailbreak developers like Taurine and Unc0ver Team in order to update their tools all the way up to iOS 15.4.1, but it's by no means all it takes. Overall it's a great achievement by a talented security researcher in our community.

Star New OpenPwnage Jailbreak Released For All 32-Bit Devices (iOS 9.0 - 9.3.6)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-10-2022, 10:19 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

▶ Unlock Forgotten iPhone Screen with AnyUnlock

In today's video, we're discussing the latest news in the jailbreak community. A brand new jailbreak called OpenPwnage has been released by what appears to be a new jailbreak developer in our community. While the jailbreak may not be as important, it's for iOS 9.0 to 9.3.6, what is important is that a new developer is interested in developing for iOS.

We do have a serious shortage of jailbreak developers in our community, and every new developer who is brave enough to tackle jailbreaking is welcome. This jailbreak, while fully functional for iOS 9 on 32-Bit devices, is likely more of an exercise to learn how to make a jailbreak from scratch.

Star How To Enable DEVELOPER MODE on iOS 16 and Sideload Applications (AltStore, etc.)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-10-2022, 02:27 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

▶ Unlock Forgotten iPhone Screen with AnyUnlock

With the release of iOS 16 Developer Beta 1, Apple has changed how you run sideloaded applications on the device. In iOS 15 and older, it used to be that you simply sideloaded the application to the device and trusted the developer's Apple ID. Now you must enable Developer Mode first, otherwise, no app will start.

Developer Mode is buried deep in the Privacy and Security section of the settings. It's the last option there and it requires a full device reboot before it can take effect. Nothing else has changed, Apple still enforces the 7 days expiry policy for sideloaded apps with a free Developer account.

iOS 15.0 - 15.5 MUST HAVE Application - Change / Spoof GPS Location WITHOUT Jailbreak
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-10-2022, 01:06 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I will demonstrate how you can use iMyFone's AnyTo software in order to change / spoof your iOS GPS location for all location-based applications and games. This can be helpful if you play games that require you to move around, or if you want to spoof your location for privacy reasons. AnyTo allows you to change the location to anywhere in the world, and it persists until the iOS device is rebooted.

AnyTo can change the location either to a specific point on the map, or to a predefined path, making it look like your device is constantly moving around. You can even define the speed at which your device is moving (for example by foot, by bike, car, etc). The changes are easily reversed with a simple device reboot.
