In today's video, I will demonstrate how you can use TunesKit to fix your iPhone if you forgot your passcode, or your kid accidentally set one. It's quite common to either forget your passcode or buy a second-hand device from eBay or other such places only to realize it's locked and the seller vanished. With TunesKit Unlocker you can remove the passcode and set a new one as long as Find My is not turned on (or if it is, you have to know the Apple ID and Pass).

Accidentally setting a passcode is a common issue, especially if you give your phone to your kid, and while the issue is 100% fixable, it will require a complete wipe of the device, so all data that is not backed up somewhere will be lost. It's important to know that this method does NOT skip the activation step. You still need to prove that the device is yours by knowing your Apple ID credentials. Failing that, the device will stay stuck on the Setup.

IMPORTANT: This program doesn't work with any iPhone newer than iPhone X, so iPhone XS, XR, XS Max, and newer are not supported.

While iOS 16.0.2, just like iOS 16.0.1, doesn't contain any security changes, there are lots of important bug fixes in this update. As such, I recommend you update to it as soon as possible if you're running iOS 16.0 or iOS 16.0.1.

Amongst the bugs fixed, there are a few nasty ones such as a bug that causes the camera to vibrate and blur the photos, a bug that breaks Copy and Paste from apps, and a bug that makes the touchscreen unresponsive on some iPhone models. From my tests, the battery life is also better on iOS 16.0.2 compared to iOS 16.0. Of course, if you wanna jailbreak you shouldn't update to iOS 16, but if you don't care about jailbreaking, this is a must-have update.

In this video, we're discussing the latest news coming from Coolstar and the Odyssey Team regarding the Cheyote Jailbreak for iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.1.1 on all devices, including A12+. This jailbreak comes with Sileo package manager and built-in SSH support.

Coolstar has recently announced that she might be able to release Cheyote Jailbreak in its current state very soon, while we wait for libhooker to be refactored for iOS 15. While tweaks won't work for now because libhooker needs updating, Cheyote already has SSH, Sileo, and Cheyote Recovery, so it would make updating the tweaks much easier for developers.

Got a locked iOS device?

Your iOS device can get locked due to multiple reasons. Maybe your kid accidentally set a passcode they don't remember anymore, or maybe you bought a second-hand device and got scammed. 
This happens often enough that it's an issue, but unless you bought the device from a place that offers buyer protection, there's not much that you can do and now you are stuck with a paperweight device.
Fortunately, StarzSoft's KeyPass tool is capable to fix both Activation Lock and forgotten Passcode / Screen Time passcode, etc, on A11 devices and older. If you are lucky enough that you have one of the compatible devices, with as little as a few clicks, you might be able to bypass the issue.

Not all iOS devices are supported, however, by StarzSoft KeyPass. KeyPass supports the following iOS device and iOS version combinations. If your device is not in the list below, it will not be supported and you cannot use this tool for activation lock bypass, but you can still reset the device to factory settings if you forgot the lock screen passcode.
