In today's video, we have yet another jailbreak-like customization application released thanks to the MacDirtyCow kernel vulnerability discovered by Ian Beer of Google Project Zero, for iOS 16.0 up to iOS 16.1.2 on all devices. This application, called Dynamic Cow, allows you to get the iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island notch on your iPhone 11, iPhone 13, iPhone 12, etc.

The dynamic island notch was introduced with the release of iPhone 14 and it essentially makes the notch shrink or grow into various containers for applications depending on what you're doing, making it an integral part of the display. It changes into the FaceID UI when needed, shows the timers, transforms into the music playback controls, etc.

In today's video, we have an update to the XinaA12 / XinaA15 Jailbreak for iOS 15.0 - 15.1.1. The Jailbreak supports all modern devices, including iPhone XS, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, etc. and it supports tweaks and Sileo.

While there's no clear changelog for Xina520's Jailbreak, a new version (v1.1.6.2) was released and posted on Xina520's official Twitter, so it might be a good idea to update to it if you are using the developer beta version of XinaA12 jailbreak. A new application called FileSwitcherX was released which allows you to tweak some parts of your device without having a jailbreak installed. This application does make use of a jailbreak kernel vulnerability, but it's not a full jailbreak, just a tweaking application.

With FileSwitcherX you can customize the dock, folder background, device sounds (keyboard tap, charger plug in, low battery, etc.), and more. In combination with the Font changer app released for iOS 16 a few days ago, this can make for some nice customization.

Today we have a very important thing to discuss for those of you who wanna jailbreak on iOS 16.0 up to iOS 16.1.2. on newer devices. If you missed the opportunity to update to iOS 16.1.2, or you accidentally updated to 16.2, you can still go back to iOS 16.1.2 even if it's no longer signed.

iOS 16.1.2 is good for jailbreaking because Ian Beer has released a powerful kernel vulnerability that was already used in a Font Changer app for iOS 16. This vuln can easily be used for a jailbreak. iOS 16.2 already patched that bug so it's best to go back to iOS 16.1.2 asap. Using the supervised method (Delay OTA), you may still update to iOS 16.1.2 for a short time.

After iOS 16.2 patched an important kernel vulnerability found by Ian Beer of Google Project Zero, other security researchers took that vulnerability and managed to create an application that can change all fonts on iOS 16.1.2 and lower on all devices, as well as a File Manager.

The File Manager application is based on the same CVE by Ian Beer, and it was created by developer Mineek of the PaleRa1n Jailbreak Team. It's more of a proof of concept to show what can be done with the vulnerability, but it's clear that the kernel vulnerability is definitely suitable for jailbreak purposes so don't update to iOS 16.2!

Today we have some great updates coming from the PaleRa1n team regarding their PaleRa1n Jailbreak for iOS 15.0 all the way up to iOS 16.2 for A11 devices and lower. The jailbreak is fully functional, runs tweaks and themes, and it works as expected, but a few days ago a major update has been released which includes PongoOS.

PongoOS was updated a couple of days ago by the CheckRa1n team to support iOS 15.0 up to iOS 16.2. While checkra1n jailbreak still remains broken on iOS 15 and 16, PongoOS' update brings checkra1n even closer to being updated. Not only that, but PaleRa1n team got permission to integrate blackbird and PongoOS into PaleRa1n jailbreak which can finally bring passcode back on A10 devices.
