FilzaEscaped, a self-contained version of Filza File Manager that doesn't require a jailbreak, has been successfully achieved and the developer, @AppleDry05, has announced that the release will be soon. They are currently looking for testers on iPhone X to iPhone 12. It looks like FilzaEscaped15 is now finished.

FilzaEscaped allows you to fully browse and edit the files in /var which is powerful enough to allow some small degree of customization, but most importantly it allows you to modify all user data / files, even for apps.

Following the video that I made a few days ago in which I was talking about developer @xina520's latest CodeSign bypass achievements on iOS 15, today I am glad to announce they've successfully managed to get jailbreak working on iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.1.1, and according to xina520, their AMFID / CodeSign bypass works on iOS 15.4 and lower too.

While there currently isn't any iOS 15.2 and newer kernel exploit available, xina520's CodeSign bypass method isn't patched according to them, so once a kernel bug gets publicly released, they may be able to update their prototype jailbreak tool up to iOS 15.4 (theoretically).

It's not fully known what else is left to achieve a fully functional jailbreak with Cydia and tweaks, but we're sure more stuff is needed as xina520 says they need more time.

Today I am happy to announce that developer @xina520 has successfully managed to bypass CodeSign on iOS 15, which is exactly what jailbreak developers have been trying to achieve for months. iOS 15 has proven way stronger than expected, especially when it comes to bypassing CodeSign.

One of the reasons Taurine Jailbreak isn't updated for iOS 15 yet is that Odyssey Team had issues trying to bypass AMFID and CodeSign. Hopefully @xina520's research could allow them to release their iOS 15.1.1 and lower jailbreak. While Taurine will NOT support iOS 15.2 and newer, the technique used by xina520 might be usable on iOS 15.2+ once a kernel exploit is available.

Today, we're discussing the achievement of a relatively new jailbreak developer in our community who has decided to tackle the iOS 15 jailbreak challenge and managed to obtain R/W access to /var/containers using publicly available exploit and code. This is a great start and according to the developer, they either plan to make an unsandboxed file manager or a fully working jailbreak.

It all depends on whether they manage to tackle AMFID which has been a great source of frustration and setbacks, not only for @akusio_RR, but also for established jailbreak teams like Taurine's Odyssey Team. If a jailbreak gets done, it would work on iOS 15.1.1 and lower for now.

Today, we have a quick update on AltStore, an alternative application installation method for iOS devices that has been confirmed to work with the latest iOS 15.6 Beta 1, and macOS Monterey 12.5 Beta 1. This means you can continue to sideload your applications on iOS even if you update to the latest versions. It also means you can still sideload Unc0ver and Taurine jailbreak even on the latest version of macOS.

Apple's walled garden approach with the AppStore has been challenged recently by the European Union legislators who are beginning to require Apple to allow alternative methods to install applications on iOS. AltStore is one of these well-developed alternatives which allow you to easily deploy and test various apps on your device, just like on Android, but keep it legal, folks.

In today's video, I will guide you through how you can fix an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS 15.5 or older, if it's stuck in a bootloop or refuses to power on normally, after a failed update, jailbreak issues, or after installing malfunctioning tweaks from Cydia, etc. If the device is in a bootloop, it will briefly show the Apple logo and then reboot. This will repeat again and again but the device will not boot back to the home screen.

To fix this, today, we're using TunesKit iOS System Recovery, a software developed by TunesKit, which allows you to restore the device back to a functional state if the issue was caused by a software mishap. Do keep in mind that this software cannot fix the device if the issue is hardware-related. TunesKit allows you to attempt restoring the device without losing the data. If that fails, you can attempt the advanced restore which will clear out everything but has more success rate.

Today, Apple has released iOS 15.5 which patches a lot of security vulnerabilities found on iOS 15.4.1 and lower. Some of these vulnerabilities were reported by Ned Williamson and Linus Henze, both security researchers with a great history in the iOS Jailbreak scene for releasing their kernel vulnerabilities.

There seem to be a lot of bugs patched on iOS 15.5 so should you update? Well, if you do not care about jailbreaking but you want the security, definitely update, it's a solid security patch. If you do, however, want a jailbreak, stay as low as possible and do not update to iOS 15.5.

In today's video, we're talking about an application you can get for free from the AppStore on iOS, which allows you to have a secondary phone number in a different country. You can then use these phone numbers to place and receive calls over the internet, send SMS, and so on. These are very useful when you need to provide a phone number but you want to protect your privacy and not give your real phone number.

It's also useful for giving your customers a number they can call to get support, etc. if you don't wanna give your personal phone number to avoid being called in the middle of the night. Just like a good VPN, a secondary phone number can be a great privacy tool. Dingtone also allows you to block or suspend a phone number once you no longer need it. Do keep in mind that these numbers are not usable to call emergency services!
