In today's video, I will show you how to install an important prerequisite tool if you wanna use the CheckRa1n Jailbreak for Linux once it gets out. We're talking about usbmuxd which is important because it lets the computer handle and detect the USB iOS device so that CheckRa1n can work with it. CheckRa1n Jailbreak works on iOS 13.3 all the way down to iOS 12.3 on iPhone X and lower.
Nikias Bassen, one of the developers behind #CheckRa1n advised people to install and have ready the #USBMUXD on their Linux machines so that once CheckRa1n for Linux is released, you'll be able to just run it and jailbreak your device. Installing USBMUXD is done from Terminal by running two comments through sudo (you need to elevate your privileges). Since USBMUXD is a requirement, I thought I should make a video in advance so you'll have the computer ready. There will NOT be a Windows version very soon so the Linux version is what you'll use on PC.
