After developer Brightiup released their information about a brand new kernel vulnerability, another developer, BinaryBoy made a full kernel exploit out of it which can be used to update both Unc0ver and Taurine Jailbreak. The exploit compatibility is from iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.1.1 and iOS 15.2 Beta 1, however, if you missed the opportunity to upgrade or downgrade, it may be too late.

Reports in the community show that the OTA Delay method may or may not work. It's certain that the traditional OTA Delay method won't work at all to update to iOS 15.1 / 15.1.1, but it may still be possible to do it if you are jailbroken on a lower version and use tweaks to do the update. There are reports Apple Configurator may work too, but you need macOS for that.

After security researcher Brightiup released a new kernel bug writeup that details how to exploit the vulnerability and get R/W on the Kernel Memory which we can then use for a jailbreak, developer binaryboy has released a full kernel exploit based on that which can be used for Unc0ver jailbreak.

The exploit works on iOS 15.0 all the way up to iOS 15.1 and very likely 15.1.1 as well. It also should work on iOS 15.0 all the way up to iOS 15.2 Beta 1 and iOS 15.1.1, and Pwn20wnd can take this kernel exploit and use use it to update the Unc0ver tool.

In today's video, I will demonstrate how you can use MobileTrans to backup your WhatsApp, Viber, Kick, etc. conversations to your computer and restore them to a different device later. In this video, I have good news for those of you waiting for CheckRa1n jailbreak to be updated for iOS 15. Just a couple of hours ago, developer Siguza has updated parts of the PongoOS, a major component of CheckRa1n in the iOS 15 branch on GitHub, thus hinting at active development towards iOS 15 support.

Apple has also stopped signing iOS 15.3 today which means you can no longer update or downgrade to it, however, iOS 15.3 RC which is very much the same as iOS 15.3, is still signed by Apple. So is iOS 15.2 Beta 2, so definitely go ahead and save the blobs if you want to downgrade / upgrade in the future for Jailbreak purposes.

In today's video, we're discussing the release of Havoc Repo, a replacement for Packix repo which will be shutting down on August 2022. We're also discussing the latest update from developer Brightiup on his CVE-2021-30955 kernel vulnerability which can be used for jailbreaking.

Back in December, Brightiup has announced they will be releasing their exploit for CVE-2021-30955 which can be used for jailbreaking and updating Unc0ver jailbreak. It's now 2 months later and Brightiup has clarified 2 months was an estimate. It's still coming soon, just not exactly 2 months later.

In today's video, we're discussing the latest update to a tool called LeetDown which aids in downgrading iOS to signed OTA versions for certain supported devices. LeetDown allows the downgrades thanks to checkm8 exploit and a  quirk in Apple's OTA signing.

See, you can't OTA update from Settings an older device like iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S from say iOS 6 or iOS 7 directly to the latest version such as iOS 12 or iOS 10, you would need to make a pit stop first to an intermediary firmware such as iOS 8.4.1 and as such these intermediary versions remain signed but only via OTA not IPSW. This is what LeetDown uses to downgrade.

In this video, we're discussing the newly released iOS 15.3.1 which patches an important arbitrary code execution WebKit vulnerability that likely could be used for a Safari-based Jailbreak on iOS 15.3 and lower on all devices.
