Star iOS 15.2 / 15.0 / 14.8 JAILBREAK News: Important CheckRa1n Update Coming For iOS 15 (Pre-A12)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-24-2021, 07:37 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

Today we have some great news to discuss regarding CheckRa1n Jailbreak which is currently being worked on to support iOS 15.0, iOS 15.0.1, iOS 15.0.2, iOS 15.1, and even iOS 15.2 for the pre-A12 devices. As you're probably aware, the new changes in iOS 15 break the remounting used in CheckRa1n jailbreak as well as in Unc0ver previous to 15.0. As such, the CheckRa1n Team had to come up with a brand new way to do this unless they wanted to go rootless. As it turns out, developer Siguza already has an idea of how to fix this.

It was revealed in a Discord conversation that I was able to read thanks to Alf Saunders, that Siguza is planning to work on CheckRa1n for iOS 15 but they do not have any free time until at least Christmas. Realistically, I would expect it to be done probably in early January.

Star iOS 15.1 / 15.0 / 14.7 / 14.6 JAILBREAK Update: iOS 15.1.1 / 15.1 No Longer Signed! What to do?
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-22-2021, 03:56 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

Today we're discussing the latest developments in the iOS Jailbreak community, especially for those interested in an iOS 14.6, iOS 14.7, iOS 14.8, and iOS 15 jailbreak up to iOS 15.1.1. Apple has stopped signing both iOS 15.1.1 and iOS 15.1 all of the sudden yesterday for all devices, which means that it's now no longer possible to downgrade or upgrade to such iOS versions. This is pretty bad because those were good iOS versions for jailbreak purposes thanks to the many bugs they had.

iOS 15.2 remains currently the only signed version, but it's not a good idea at all for those of you who are waiting for Unc0ver Jailbreak to be updated because all the good vulnerabilities in the security patch notes of iOS 15.2 are only available on 15.1.1 and below. So, the best thing you can do while you wait for a jailbreak right now is to ensure you don't accidentally have the auto-update feature turned on in your iOS settings because if your device updates to 15.2, it will be a long wait.

Star iOS 14.8 / iOS 14.7.1 / 14.5 JAILBREAK: Taurine Jailbreak Update & When To Expect It! (A12+)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-19-2021, 05:22 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we're discussing the latest Taurine Jailbreak news and updates we have regarding iOS 14.4, iOS 14.5, and iOS 14.5.1 untethered Taurine, but also the plans for iOS 14.7, iOS 14.8, and iOS 15 Jailbreak once an exploit gets released. Coolstar has made an announcement today on the current status and what is planned.

For those unaware, Taurine Jailbreak is a great (and the only) alternative to Unc0ver Jailbreak. It comes with a much more modern package manager for tweaks and themes, called Sileo which was built entirely in Swift. Overall, Taurine is a very stable and promising jailbreak already working on iOS 14.0 to iOS 14.3.

  iOS 14.8 / 14.4 / 13 - How To Bypass iCloud Activation With PassFab On iPhone X / 8 / 8 Plus & Lower
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-19-2021, 04:01 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, I will show you how to fix your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch (below A12) running iOS 14.8, iOS 14.7, iOS 14.6, iOS 14.5.1 down to iOS 13.0 if it's currently stuck on the iOS Activation / iCloud screen and you no longer remember your credentials to continue to the next step in the Setup.app screens. Important: Please use this method only on YOUR own devices.

For this project, we are going to use a software called PassFab Activation Unlocker which was released by PassFab a few months ago. The tool works on both Windows and macOS and supports iOS up to iOS 14.8. Do keep in mind that this video and the tool do not support iOS 15 versions at the moment.

IMPORTANT: The information in this video is provided for reference only. Only use it on your own devices that belong to you and use it responsibly.

Star Important MANTICORE JAILBREAK News / Pwn-My Safari Jailbreak News (iOS 14.8 - 14.0)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-17-2021, 05:11 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

Today we're discussing the latest news from the Manticore Team which was developing the Manticore Jailbreak and the Pwn-My Safari jailbreak for iOS 13 all the way up to iOS 14.8. Had it been finished, it would have supported iOS 14.6, iOS 14.7.1, iOS 14.7, and even iOS 14.5 too, however, the project is officially canceled after my worst fears about it have been confirmed by the remaining Manticore Team upon RPwnage, the main developer, disappearing from the scene.

With Rpwnage gone, the rest of the members called it officially canceled and so this is where Manticore Jailbreak and Pwn-My Jailbreak end. I was always suspicious about their Patreon donations thing and this is why 2 months ago I stopped trying to help them with the jailbreak. Turns out it was a good idea after all.

Exclamation iOS 14.7.1 - 14.0 JAILBREAK News: New Google Project Zero Exploit RELEASED! + Major Security Issue!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-16-2021, 04:15 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're having both good news and bad news coming from Google Project Zero, particularly from Ian Beer. A brand new iOS vulnerability has been released for iOS 14.7.1 and lower on all devices, and it was very well documented. So much so, that it's likely useful for a jailbreak if a bit weird in implementation. However, the issue is the vulnerability itself. It is an iMessage 0-Click that was used in the wild before.

The vulnerability itself is extremely complicated and powerful. Google Project Zero does a great job explaining all the important bits and pieces, however, this vulnerability requires no user interaction whatsoever which makes it very bad news for security on iOS 14.7.1 and lower, especially now that the techniques are public. It was first patched by Apple in iOS 14.8. Whether it can be used or not in Unc0ver Jailbreak or in Taurine Jailbreak remains to be seen.

Question iOS 15.1.1 - 14.6 A12+ JAILBREAK Coming: IMPORTANT Info + Best iOS To Stay On! (ALL DEVICES)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-15-2021, 04:40 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we have some important clarifications and info about the iOS Jailbreak vulnerabilities patched in iOS 15.2 and what iOS versions will be supported by an upcoming jailbreak once the kernel exploit announced yesterday by brightiup will be released in 2 months. Yesterday's iOS 15.2 release brought major news for the jailbreak community as multiple iOS vulnerabilities patched in iOS 15.2 can be used to jailbreak anything from iOS 15.1.1 down to iOS 14.6 on all devices.

iOS 15.1.1 is indeed included. I forgot to mention it yesterday because only iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 have iOS 15.1.1 available for them. The rest of the devices have iOS 15.1 still signed. In any case, iOS 15.1.1 is still supported by brightiup's kernel exploit so no issues whatsoever. In this video, I am also clarifying some of the other questions I got about the next jailbreak and what version is most suitable to stay on.

Heart BIG iOS 15.1 / 15.0 / 14.6 JAILBREAK News: NEW Kernel Exploit RELEASE Announced! + Pangu Vulns
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-14-2021, 04:09 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I have very good news for folks out there waiting for a jailbreak on iOS 14.6, iOS 14.7, iOS 14.8, iOS 15.0, and even iOS 15.1. Today, Apple has released iOS 15.2, and with it, a huge security content (patch notes) which exposes a lot of vulnerabilities by Pangu Team, Google Project Zero, and even brightiup (who will release their vulnerability publicly). Anybody staying on iOS 15.1 and lower will be able to jailbreak once these get released and we have at least one major kernel vulnerability confirmed to be released in 2 months.

These many vulnerabilities in a single release aren't common, but they're truly a blessing for the jailbreak community because, without such vulnerabilities, we cannot do much. Once any of these gets released, we can update Unc0ver Jailbreak and Taurine Jailbreak to work all the way up to iOS 15.1. As always, it's still best to stay as low as possible, and preferably avoid iOS 15 for now.

Star iOS 15.1 / 15.0 / 14.7 Unc0ver JAILBREAK No Computer By Timmy Tech Geek Debunked
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-13-2021, 04:10 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

Today we're taking a look at Unc0ver Jailbreak (No Computer) method for iOS 15.1, iOS 15.0, iOS 14.7 down to iOS 14.6 that was posted by a channel called Timmy Tech Geek and it's now quite popular (second result in search) for iOS 15.1 jailbreak. We're going to see if it's legitimate and if it's even possible to create such a jailbreak without a computer.

The method demonstrated in Timmy Geek's video has been shown multiple times before by multiple other channels, so naturally, I was skeptical when I saw the title in search. Right now iOS 15.1 is the latest signed iOS version so an Unc0ver Jailbreak for it would have made the news pretty fast. Let's see together what this "jailbreak" is all about.

Heart iOS 15.1 / 15 / 14.0: How to Recover Stored Passwords For Websites & App Login (No Jailbreak)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-09-2021, 10:39 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I will show you how to recover your saved passwords including the WiFi password from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS 13.0 all the way up to iOS 15.1 using a software called Dr.Fone which recently got updated to support backing up the passwords stored from Safari and so on, on the device.

When you sign in to an account on a website using Safari, you get a message that tells you to save the password on your Keychain for quicker access. While this is a very good feature, you can also retrieve the saved passwords which makes it great if you forget yours but you have it stored on the device. #forgetwifipassword #forgetappleid
