In today's video, we're discussing Apple's latest changes to the iOS signing status. Apple stopped signing iOS 15.5 and iOS 15.5 Beta 4 just a couple of hours ago, leaving only iOS 15.6 currently signed, which is pretty bad for jailbreak purposes.

iOS 15.5 Beta 4 is compatible with the upcoming Fugu15 jailbreak by Linus Henze because it is vulnerable to the same bugs iOS 15.4.1 is, however, iOS 15.5 and iOS 15.6 are not vulnerable so if you're running any of these versions, it's pretty bad for jailbreak purposes.

Well… who knows. I may have screwed myself for jailbreaking on 15.5 beta 4. I figured since Cheyote isn’t going to be for 15.2 for now anyway, I might as well go from 15.2 to 15.5 beta 4 and see if Fugu 15 will indeed cover it. Naturally, I saved my 15.2 blobs, but they were accidentally deleted when I had to do a reinstall of my Win 11 system. Oops. I was too eager, since Fugu 15 was bound to cover 15.2 anyway. At this point Its just my guess there might be a 50% - 50% chance that Fugu will really work on 15.5 beta 4. I hope. Opinions would be interesting to hear on this?

Today, we have even more news coming from the Odyssey Team and Coolstar regarding the Cheyote Jailbreak for iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.1.1. The jailbreak is coming along nicely. Coolstar has demonstrated a couple of hours ago a fully functional tweak running on the iOS 15 home screen. Aside from that, Safe Mode has been confirmed working and the Userspace Reboot now works as intended.

The Odyssey Team has made tremendous progress toward their iOS 15.0 - 15.1.1 jailbreak, and very soon people will be able to customize their devices with tweaks and themes once again on iOS 15. If you're running iOS 15.0 to iOS 15.1.1 do not update.

In today's video, we're discussing the latest progress towards the Cheyote Jailbreak developed by Coolstar and the Odyssey Team. The jailbreak will be compatible with iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.1.1 initially, with planned support for all devices (although the initial release will likely be A11 to A14 only). Cheyote Jailbreak comes with Sileo package manager and tweaks working.

Coolstar has recently posted the current roadmap of the Cheyote jailbreak development. What is done and what is currently being developed as part of the project. This gave us a glimpse of the development status of the first iOS 15 jailbreak to get publicly released.

In today's news, the Odyssey Team managed to successfully achieve Tweak Injection on iOS 15, which allows them to get tweaks running on iOS 15.0 - 15.1.1 on newer devices using Cheyote Jailbreak which is currently in the works. Tweak Injection is an important part of each jailbreak. Without this, no tweak would actually work so the jailbreak would be pretty useless. It appears the Odyssey Team is making progress slowly, but surely.

In other news, the Odyssey Team have announced that their upcoming Cheyote Jailbreak will have themes just like Taurine had before. Not sure how many of you want to customize your jailbreak tool interface, but the feature is there if you want it.

A security researcher in our community had identified a tweak called AppEditor in the BigBoss repo as being malware and this has the potential to be pretty dangerous if you have the tweak installed. We're urging everyone who has the tweak AppEditor installed to immediately get rid of it and restore ROOT FS in their jailbreak tool.

Every so often such issues occur in the jailbreak community. It's important to act quickly to keep your device protected. Always make constant backups of your important data, and do not install tweaks if you do not trust the developer or the repo they come from. In this case, it happens to be from a reputable Repo as it's likely the tweak was OK for a long time but was weaponized in the previous updates. Stay safe!

In today's video we have a bit of an odd achievement to talk about. Developer dora2ios managed to create an application that can be installed on any jailbroken iPhone and it allows you to jailbreak other checkra1n-compatible devices using it. This way you can jailbreak your compatible checkra1n devices without a computer, from a secondary older or newer iPhone.

Imagine this scenario. Your daily driver is an iPhone 12 but you also have an iPhone 8 Plus which can be jailbroken with checkra1n. With Ra1nPoc14, you can jailbreak the iPhone 8 Plus directly from your iPhone 12 without using a Mac or a computer for checkra1n.

Similarly, if you don't have a newer device and your daily driver is the checkra1n-compatible device, you can get an old iPod Touch 6th generation for dirt-cheap and use it to jailbreak with it.

In today's video, we have some great news coming from the Odyssey Team regarding the new Cheyote Jailbreak which is being developed for iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.1.1 (for now). The team has successfully achieved SSH on A13 devices (and not only), which is the first time true SSH is achieved on iOS 15 since the beginning of iOS 15 builds. Cheyote Jailbreak is essentially Taurine15, or Taurine Jailbreak for iOS 15.

If you're on a newer version that won't initially be supported by Cheyote Jailbreak, for example, iOS 15.2 - 15.4.1, stay where you are. Fugu15 will be released in October and it supports those versions. If you're running iOS 15.5, iOS 15.6, or iOS 16 Beta, downgrade back to iOS 15.5 Beta 4 while you still can, and wait there, it supports Fugu15.

Get iOS 15.5 Beta 4 IPSW!

I happily upgraded to iOS 15 beta 4 just now in anticipation of October’s Fugu 15 jailbreak. So, I’m no longer waiting on iOS 15.2. Problem is that the old beta upgrade notification is back as soon as whenever I unlock. Anyway, I installed the block ota beta profile for iOS 15, but the persistent notification to upgrade remained. Any ideas to be rid of it?
