In today's video we have pretty bad news to discuss in the jailbreak community, as well as a public service announcement. A security researcher in our community had identified a tweak called AppEditor in the BigBoss repo as being malware and this has the potential to be pretty dangerous if you have the tweak installed. We're urging everyone who has the tweak AppEditor installed to immediately get rid of it and restore ROOT FS in their jailbreak tool.
Every so often such issues occur in the jailbreak community. It's important to act quickly to keep your device protected. Always make constant backups of your important data, and do not install tweaks if you do not trust the developer or the repo they come from. In this case, it happens to be from a reputable Repo as it's likely the tweak was OK for a long time but was weaponized in the previous updates. Stay safe!
