  I could not downgrade my iOS 12.3.1
Posted by: elrodrix - 07-07-2019, 11:34 AM - Forum: iOS Downgrade Corner - Replies (1)

Hey guys!

I was wondering if I can downgrade my iphone 7 GSM (ios 12.3.1) to 12.1.2, and then install a jailbreak.

The problem is that I can not find a signed IPSW for version 12.1.2.

Is this possible?.

I mean, I understand that I can not install ipsw through iTunes if it is not signed, so, Can I install ipsw (not signed) using another tool?

Thank in advance.

Video iOS 13 / iOS 12.3.1 / 12.2 New WebKit / Safari Exploit RELEASED! Can We Use it For JA
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 07-07-2019, 03:59 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing the latest iOS 13 Beta, iOS 12.3.1, iOS 12.3 and iOS 12.2 Jailbreak news. A new #Safari / #Webkit exploit was released just a few hours ago By Luca Todesco and @itszn13. In a recent tweet, itszn13 said "Decided to take @qwertyoruiopz's nday and write a full exploit for it. Here is a exploit for iOS 12.3.1 doing SOP bypass via arbitrary read/write". The SOP stands from same origin policy. The bug was found by Luca Todesco and released a few hours ago. He confirmed it working all the way up to iOS 13 Beta 2.

In this video, we're discussing whether it is useful for the jailbreak community, especially since many of my viewers sent me links to this asking me whether it might be useful for a Safari-based Jailbreak (WebKit-based Jailbreak) for iOS 12.3.1 and iOS 12.2. The answer is a bit more complicated than a simple yes or no, so I invite you to watch the video to get a clarification on what this is, what it does and whether it is a good thing for the jailbreak community.

Video iOS 12.3.1 / 12.1.4 / 12.2 Jailbreak (Taig9 / TAIG One) DEBUNKED! (With Explanation)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 07-06-2019, 06:54 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're debunking yet another of these popular yet phony iOS 12.3.1 / 12.1.4 / 12.2 Jailbreaks. This time, it's one that was made to look exactly like the Taig Jailbreak for iOS 8 back in 2015. It's called Taig One or Taig9, and they claim to be made using @derrekr6's tfp0 kernel exploit that he announced a few weeks ago. A real and very powerful kernel exploit which does, indeed, help the Jailbreak community, especially since tfp0 is a major component used in most major jailbreaks.

The problem becomes evident when you realize that @derrekr6 has never released his tfp0 kernel exploit, and he has no plans to do so for now. What #Taig9 / #TaigOne did was to mix the absurd with the truth. Combine a real jailbreak exploit from a real security researcher, with a real jailbreak team (TAIG) from back in the days that were respected for their Jailbreak tool that was untethered and worked very well, and you can create the most credible iOS 12.3.x fake jailbreak. The link to this one was sent to me by a viewer that goes by the name DannyXT09. Thanks to him, yet another fake jailbreak is exposed.

You probably ask yourself, who would fall for this? Well anybody who is new and has no idea what is right and what is wrong in the community. If you are coming from Android or another platform, and you want to jailbreak your iPhone for the first time, there are high chances you will search for an "iOS 12.3.1 Jailbreak" on Google or another search engine. Guess what pops up as a high result? Yep, Taig9, a fake Jailbreak. So what would a newcomer do? They would search for the name "Taig" to ensure they got the real deal, and they will find a ton of good results because Taig was a real jailbreak back in the days. Unless you've been in the community for some time, it's quite hard to tell what is fake and what isn't. It's a new platform, new rules, new requirements for getting privileges over the system.

Video New Chimera JAILBREAK (1.0.9) Released & New Cydia Alternative (Installer 5) Released
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 07-04-2019, 02:51 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - Replies (2)

In today's video, we're discussing the release of Chimera Jailbreak v1.0.9 by the Electra Team for iOS 12.0 up to iOS 12.1.2 for all devices including the A12 ones (iPhone XS, XS MAX and XR) and the latest iPad PROs. We're also discussing the public release of Installer 5 by AppTapp team, a complete Cydia alternative with a great user interface, fast response and tons of features to make your Jailbreak better.

The Chimera v1.0.9 is an important update for the Chimera Jailbreak users. It comes with important bug and stability fixes, improvements and also with a new version of Sileo, another Cydia alternative introduced by Coolstar and his team in Chimera / Electra. This update fixes a previously broken Sileo update. As for Installer 5, it's been in the works for nearly a year by AppTapp team, and it's finally ready for the public beta. Just a few hours ago, AppTapp team posted the details about the Beta and how to install it.

Star iOS emulators
Posted by: Weedy Weed Smoker - 07-03-2019, 05:01 PM - Forum: Useful Tools and Utilities - Replies (6)

Hi everyone !

As a proper Cydia repo for RetroArch, PPSSPP, Provenance and other emulators seem to have long been missing, I decided to take on the task to create and maintain one...

iOS Emulators repo :

You can add my repo to Cydia by clicking this link on a jailbroken device, or by adding this source to Cydia : http://johan.margueritte.free.fr/repo (or Sileo...)

For Sileo users, you can just click this link on your jailbroken device...

iOS Emulators for non-jailbroken users :

You can use my website to get the .ipa versions, to sign with Cydia Impactor if you're not jailbroken...

Star Current Working Full iCloud Bypass Methods
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 07-03-2019, 04:45 PM - Forum: iCloud Bypass Status - Replies (42)

The following iCloud Bypass methods are tried and true. They work relatively fully. The device gets bypassed successfully and it will persist even after restart or a restore/update, however, in some cases you should never update the device. Please do keep in mind that there is NO WAY in 2019 you can get the SIM Card working with a bypass. The device will be bypassed with the following methods, but you will never be able to place calls or receive calls/text messages with your SIM CARD.

The reason the SIM card does not work is that the fake Activation Ticket generated by these services/tools cannot accommodate the SIM card so the device's internal checks are not all bypassed. Some of them remain active and prevent the SIM card from working. A legit Apple Activation Ticket would be created around your SIM Card and it will allow it to be used on the phone. The goal of these bypass methods is to allow full iCloud Bypass so that you can use the device for apps and internet browsing. There is currently very little interest from developers to build any carrier activation bypass, so please do not flood the forum.

Currently working Full iCloud Bypasses:
Per iOS version (Depends on the device!):

  1. iOS 13 - CFW with checkm8 BootROM Exploit.
  2. iOS 12.0 -> 12.4 - CFW with checkm8 BootROM Exploit.
  3. iOS 11.0 -> 11.4 - CFW with checkm8 BootROM Exploit.
  4. iOS 10.0 -> 10.2.1 - YES! SoNick_14 Method!
  5. iOS 9.0 -> 9.3.5 - YES! SoNick_14 Method!
  6. iOS 8.0 -> 8.4.1 - YES! SoNick_14 Method!
  7. iOS 7.0 -> 7.1.2 - YES! SoNick_14 Method!
  8. iOS 6.0 -> 6.1.3 - YES! SoNick_14 Method!
Per Devices*:
  1. iPhone XS MAX - NONE
  2. iPhone XS - NONE
  3. iPhone XR - NONE
  4. iPhone X - CFW with checkm8 BootROM Exploit.
  5. iPhone 8 Plus / 8CFW with checkm8 BootROM Exploit.
  6. iPhone 7 Plus / 7 - CFW with checkm8 BootROM Exploit.
