Video iOS 12.3.1 / 12.2 / 12.1.3 JAILBREAK Status Update | Jailbreak Progress & Out New For
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 07-02-2019, 02:31 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - Replies (2)

In today's video, we're discussing the current iOS 12.3.1, iOS 12.3, iOS 12.2, iOS 12.1.3 and iOS 12.1.4 Jailbreak situation, where we're at, what are we waiting for and what are the future directions. We're also discussing tfp0, why it is so important for the Jailbreak community and where you can find more information about it so that you can make educated guesses when it comes to staying on a particular iOS version. Finally, we're going to discuss the new Jailbreak forum I built for our community so that we can give each other tips, help and we can discuss anything iOS and Jailbreak related.

For the moment, the Jailbreak status is pretty good. We're basically playing the waiting game at this point until any security researcher drops a tfp0 kernel exploit. Luckily, we're not just waiting for that to happen out of nowhere, multiple security researchers in our community have successfully achieved tfp0 with various public and private bugs. Just a few weeks ago, Sparkey, the developer behind the Meridian Jailbreak has announced his successful attempt to jailbreak iOS 12.4 Beta and #iOS 13 Beta with Cydia, so things are looking good. A few days ago Ned Williamson of Google Project Zero has announced his tfp0 exploit which is based on a kernel bug he reported and that was patched back in May.

As always, do not forget to Subscribe to the channel for the latest iOS and #Jailbreak news, tutorials and support.

Information iOS 32 bit downgrade tool (UPDATE)
Posted by: Comet - 07-01-2019, 10:04 PM - Forum: iOS Downgrade Corner - Replies (3)

My downgrade tool is (as of this moment due to me not being able to root an app :/) a tweak that you install from my repo according to your device. This will likely change once my Application gets root.  I have tested and have confirmed it to work on the iPhone 5, and iPad 2. Those are the only 32 bit devices I have.[Image: IMG_0721.png?raw=true]

Information How to mount your iDevice on your Linux computer with iFuse.
Posted by: YaYPIXXO - 07-01-2019, 10:02 AM - Forum: General iOS Tutorials - Replies (1)

Hey everyone! This guide will show you how to mount the filesystem of your iOS device on your Linux OS (I did this on Debian but it will likely work the exact same way on any other distro).

Requirements:
If you're jailbroken and want access to the whole filesystem, you need to install Apple File Conduit "2" (arm64/KPPLess) from BigBoss on your iDevice.

If you're not on a kppless jailbreak, such as doubleh3lix, h3lix, phoenix and older jailbreaks, you can install Apple File Conduit "2" from Telesphoreo.

If you aren't jailbroken or don't need root access you don't have to install anything on your device.

On your Linux machine you'll need to install "libimobiledevice" and "ifuse".

If you're on a Debian-based distro, you can run

Code:
sudo apt install libimobiledevice6 libimobiledevice-utils ifuse

If you're not on a Debian-based distro, you'll probably need to compile them yourself https://github.com/libimobiledevice/.

Alright, once you have installed the stuff try running
Code:
ifuse -h
in your Terminal to see some options. It should output something like this.

Now you need to create the folder where you want your device's files to be mounted to. Run
Code:
sudo mkdir /media/$USER/iPhone

Next you'll want to set permissions on the folder, by running
Code:
sudo chown -R /media/$USER/iPhone

You can now mount the device! Run
Code:
ifuse /media/$USER/iPhone --root
If you didn't install AFC or aren't jailbroken remove "--root".

If it says something like the device can't be found, try running "idevicepair pair" first.

That's it, next time you want to mount your device you only have to run
Code:
ifuse /media/$USER/iPhone --root

Again, if you aren't jailbroken or don't want root, remove "--root".

Thanks for reading my guide.

  Restart device and lose Unc0ver
Posted by: Sizer - 07-01-2019, 09:15 AM - Forum: Jailbreak Help - Replies (5)

iP 6s 12.1.2 and last new version Unc0ver.
Sometimes the device restarts and I need to connect to a computer and use a cydia impactor because the unc0ver app crash. This is a problem when I do not have access to a computer. Is the reason for the unstable JB can be tweaks ? I do not install them a lot ( list) maybe I should do a backup and restart all settings and JB install apps and tweaks again ? Any advise ?
