iOS 13.0 / iOS 13.1 Beta NEW JAILBREAK Exploit Achieved & What This Means |

In today’s video, we’re discussing the latest achievements and news in terms of iOS 13.0 Beta and iOS 13.1 Beta Jailbreaks. Just a few days ago, security researcher Luca Todesco has posted a demo of his #iOS 13.0 and iOS 13.1 Beta WebKit exploit being used to obtain remote code execution, local privilege escalation and code injection in two system applications on iOS. That is after back in June, he and Sparkey achieved Cydia on the first Beta of iOS 13. This goes to show that the iOS 13 still jailbreakable. Qwert and Sparkey have developed jailbreaks in the past, most notably Yalu Jailbreak by Luca Todesco (Qwerty) and Meridian Jailbreak by Sparkey, both for iOS 10. Both of them are very capable security researchers in our community.
A WebKit exploit is very useful especially for a Safari-based jailbreak, but since Qwerty was able to gain local privilege escalation with it, it could be useful for a #jailbreak for more than a simple vector. I will keep you updated as more info gets published about this exploit. At any rate, it’s advised that you stay on iOS 12 until iOS 13 gets released officially this month because it’s still unstable.

In today's video, we have two important updates coming from the Chimera / Electra Team. Just a few hours ago, they've released a new version of the Chimera Jailbreak which adds support for A12 devices for SHSH2 blobs saving/nonce generator setting for downgrade purposes, and they've also released a new version of Sileo, their Cydia alternative / Package Manager which runs exclusively on Chimera / Electra in official form. The latest update makes #Sileo 3 times faster than the previous builds, makes repos load faster and has other general improvements too. The Chimera Team labeled it as a big update.
The nonce-setting related changes added to #Chimera for #A12 devices are available for iOS 12.0 all the way up to iOS 12.4 with iOS 12.3 and iOS 12.3.1 being excluded because there is no kernel exploit. Please do keep in mind that for the moment, A12 devices can only be partially jailbroken with no tweaks on iOS 12.1.3 and newer. The A12 devices running iOS 12.1.2 or lower can be jailbroken fully, with tweaks and Sileo using the same build of Chimera.

iOS 12.4 / 12.2 / 12.1.3 Unc0ver JAILBREAK For A12: Current Status & When To Expect A |

In today's video, we're discussing the current status of the A12 Unc0ver jailbreak and when to expect the Unc0ver Jailbreak for A12 devices (iPhone XS, XR, and XS MAX) to be released. Pwn20wnd has updated the official #Unc0ver website which was released just a few days ago to have a progress bar that somehow indicates the current status, but that is a manual progress bar so it's not providing a lot of insight into the process. In this video, we're clarifying what is currently going on so that you know when to expect a jailbreak release.
We're also discussing updating to iOS 12.4, which is recommended regardless of whether you have an A12 device or an older one. Initially, Pwn20wnd has mentioned on his Twitter that people on #A12 should stay on iOS 12.1.3, iOS 12.1.4 and iOS 12.2 because for these versions there are known PAC bypasses available, but since Pwn20wnd has shifted his jailbreak paradigm completely towards a PAC Bypass-less one, it is now recommended to update to iOS 12.4 which is currently still signed, but may not stay so for so long.

How To Save iOS 12.4 and 12.4.1 SHSH2 Blobs for iOS Downgrades & JAILBREAK |

As you are probably aware, we are currently reliving a past trend in the iOS jailbreak community where we have a jailbreak for a signed iOS version. This hasn't happened since many years ago and it's long been a trend to have jailbreaks for long unsigned firmware, and it would have stayed this way had Apple not failed to patch Ned Williamson's kernel exploit in iOS 12.4 needing iOS 12.4.1 release to fix it properly, which resulted in Unc0ver Jailbreak for 12.4 being released. However, even with iOS 12.4.1 available, iOS 12.4 is still signed and one can still currently downgrade freely to that version, but not for long.
Apple will certainly stop signing iOS 12.4 at any moment as it is highly vulnerable, so if you are planning to be able to downgrade in int he future in order to jailbreak with Unc0ver should anything happen with your current jailbreak and you need a restore, you better save your SHSH2 blobs right about now. Once Apple closes the signing window for iOS 12.4, nobody can ever save those blobs again. You cannot use mine or your friend's because the saved SHSH2 blobs are personalized per device per serial number, so even if you have the same model, it would not work. You need to save your own.

iOS 12.4 / 12.2 / 12.1.3 Unc0ver JAILBREAK For A12: CYDIA Achieved! & iOS 12.4.1 Rele |

In today's video, we're discussing Pwn20wnd and Unc0ver Team's latest achievements in terms of iOS 12.4, iOS 12.2, iOS 12.1.4 and iOS 12.1.3 A12 #Jailbreak. The A12 devices are basically the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR. These devices were previously left behind from public jailbreaks past iOS 12.1.2 due to a lack of a PAC (Pointer Authentication Codes) bypass. Pwn20wnd and the Unc0ver Team have started working a few days ago on a PAC Bypass-less method to achieve tweaks and #Cydia, and they've made huge progress lately. Recently, Pwn20wnd has achieved Cydia Installation on A12 and he's currently cleaning up and polishing the Substitute and the Cydia installation.
In other news, Apple has released iOS 12.4.1 to patch the bug by Ned Williamson used in Unc0ver which was fortunately left poorly patched in 12.4 which allowed the creation of the Unc0ver Jailbreak for iOS 12.4 but not for iOS 12.3 and iOS 12.3.1 where the bug is properly patched. If you are interested in jailbreaking your iOS device, do not update to iOS 12.4.1. The only change in the security changelog is this Kernel bug patch.
