In today's video, we have pretty bad news for those of you who have newer devices (A12+) such as iPhone XS, XR, 11, iPhone 12, etc., and want to downgrade from one version to another with saved SHSH2 blobs. FutureRestore developer @Cryptiiic has announced yesterday that iOS 16 introduced a brand new firmware component, a virtual "co-processor" that almost always breaks the compatibility between the iOS versions, thus making FutureRestore downgrades on A12+ almost impossible.
Unless we can figure out how to persist nonce-seeds across reboots, FutureRestore downgrades with saved SHSH2 blobs for jailbreak purposes are essentially broken on A12+. For older devices, there might still be hope thanks to checkm8, but A12+ is a no go.
