In today's video, we're talking about an application you can get for free from the AppStore on iOS, which allows you to have a secondary phone number in a different country. You can then use these phone numbers to place and receive calls over the internet, send SMS, and so on. These are very useful when you need to provide a phone number but you want to protect your privacy and not give your real phone number.
It's also useful for giving your customers a number they can call to get support, etc. if you don't wanna give your personal phone number to avoid being called in the middle of the night. Just like a good VPN, a secondary phone number can be a great privacy tool. Dingtone also allows you to block or suspend a phone number once you no longer need it.
