In today's video, we're discussing the release of #ReRa1n, a brand new iOS tool designed to be a helper around the #CheckRa1n Jailbreak and the CheckM8 bootrom exploit for iOS 13 all the way down to iOS 6, on iPhone X all the way down to iPhone 4S. The tool provides a plethora of functions to help you fix your device, downgrade either tethered or untethered (OTA), Semi-Restore without updating your iOS version, backup the whole ROOT File System, start SSH sessions with the device and whatnot.
The best part about it is that the tool is based on the libimobiledevice open source tools, which makes it easy to maintain and update and it also keeps it fully transparent. Since libimobiledevice can be and was compiled multiple times on Windows, this tool has no problem working on Windows and Linux computers. Oddly enough, macOS isn't supported, even though the CheckRa1n Jailbreak only supports macOS currently as of the latest Beta.
You should keep in mind that while this tool is very interesting and helpful, it is NOT a jailbreak. It cannot and will not replace CheckRa1n. This is meant to be a helper tool that fixes respring issues, allows one to downgrade/upgrade, Semi-Restore and other such things.
