New Checkra1n is out, for 14.2 ,too.
In the last videos Geosn0w mentioned we definitiv should stay on 14.1 or lower, because of security patches by Apple.
So i want know if i can update to 14.2 or better stay on 14.1 ?

As a rule it is always best to stay as low as possible for a jailbreak simply because any jailbreak that comes out apple gets and reverse engineers and patches the exploit so it cant be used in any new ios releases that come out.
Checkra1n is a bootrom exploit which is rare because the exploit is written on the chip and can not be patched unless they replace the chip with a new one thats why checkra1n will always work so long as they update the program to work with the new ios versions that get released.
