Exclamation iOS 14 / 13.7 / 13.5.1 JAILBREAK: NEW Exploit, BEST iOS Version & Untethered CheckRa1n Rumors Debunk
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-20-2020, 08:58 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're talking about a brand new exploit announced in the Jailbreak community, we're talking whether you should update to iOS 14 if you wanna jailbreak depending on what device you have, and what is the best iOS version to stay on, and we're also talking about some rumors about CheckRa1n getting untethered using an iBoot exploit, that have surfaced recently. This video applies to A12 and A13 devices TOO!

iOS 14.0 was released and it's pretty busy here in the jailbreak community. New exploit announcements, jailbreak demonstrations from Pangu and ABC Research (with SSH), various announcements from developers regarding how hard iOS 14 is to jailbreak, and so on. You can rely on this channel to get the latest jailbreak news and status as they unfold. With the risk of being a bit repetitive, I wanna ensure everyone is on the right iOS version as the situation is changing daily with new exploits being announced and changing the landscape.

Video iOS 13.5 - 11 How To Backup / Restore All Your Tweaks (Works For Cydia / Zebra / Sileo / Installer)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-19-2020, 08:26 PM - Forum: Jailbreak Help - No Replies

In this video, I will show you how to backup and restore all your Cydia, Zebra, Installer, and Sileo Tweaks and Themes. This is useful if you want to migrate from a jailbreak to another, if you want to perform a full ROOT FS restore to clean up your device, or if you just wanna have a backup of your setup for the future. If you're planning to move from Odyssey to Unc0ver, or vice-versa, this is also extremely useful as you don't have to install the tweaks and themes manually again.

This method saves everything you have installed with their current version, and therefore, porting your setup from a jailbreak to another or simply restoring after a ROOT FS restore is as simple a few taps. This video applies for iOS 11, iOS 12, and iOS 13 (with everything in between). It also applies for Unc0ver, CheckRa1n, Chimera, and Odyssey Jailbreaks. To do this we're using Batchomatic.

Video How To Save SHSH2 Blobs For iOS DOWNGRADE / Jailbreak ON A12 and A13 Devices (iPhone 11, XS, XR etc)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-19-2020, 01:14 PM - Forum: iOS Downgrade Corner - Replies (3)

In today's video I will show you step by step how to save your SHSH2 blobs for A12 and A13 devices (iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone SE 2020), for iOS downgrade, and jailbreak purposes. The process is entirely different on these devices compared to older devices that required only the ECID. On these devices, we need a set NONCE that I will show you how to properly setup.

This tutorial can be followed with ease on macOS or Linux. If you're a Windows user, it is possible to do this on Windows but you need a compiled version of iRecovery or libimobiledevice and all the drivers installed. I recommend you to boot a USB flash drive with Linux or Ubuntu.

Saving the SHSH2 blobs is very important if you wanna be able to downgrade in the future from a non-jailbreakable firmware to a jailbroken one. Without these files which are personalized to your device, you cannot EVER perform a downgrade after Apple stops signing that specific iOS version.

▽ Commands used in the video▽
▶ In Unc0ver Generator: 0x1111111111111111
▶ For getting the NONCE: irecovery -q | grep NONC
▶ To reboot out of Recovery Mode: irecovery -n
▶ Homebrew for macOS: https://brew.sh

Star NEW iOS 14.0 GM JAILBREAK by ABC Research ACHIEVED With SSH! | Apple's New A14 Chip & More!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-18-2020, 06:38 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing ABC Research's latest jailbreak achievement. Just a few hours ago ABC Research posted that they've successfully achieved an iOS 14.0 GM (Release version) Jailbreak on A12 and A13 devices with SSH. This is basically the same kind of thing the Pangu Team achieved yesterday, just hours after the iOS 14 official release.

So, now there are two different security research groups who have successfully achieved an iOS 14 jailbreak for the release (GM) version of iOS 14, and not only for the Beta. iOS 14 is surprisingly hard to jailbreak because of the extra mitigations Apple has added to it. This is highlighted by Jailbreak developer Jake James in a recent tweet. Also, with the introduction of the A14 chip in the latest iPad Air (and likely in the new iPhone 12 that is rumored to come in October), things will get even harder. In this case, seeing that iOS 14 can still be jailbroken even with all the new mitigations is quite good news for us.

Star How To Unlock An iPhone / iPad / iPod Passcode / Touch ID / Face ID Using 4uKey / 4uKey Review
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-18-2020, 04:28 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we're talking about a software called 4uKey which can help you remove a forgotten or lost Passcode or Apple ID, and it can also remove the Face ID / Touch ID from a second-hand device where the seller forgot to do it. It does this safely by removing the old seller's data so that you get a factory reset device.

Apple's locks on the iOS devices have always been quite pestering. If for some reason you've forgotten the password for that Apple account or the seller on eBay, Craigslist, and such was ill-intentioned (as sometimes happens) and didn't provide these details (and didn't remove their account from the device they sold), you might be in a rather tight situation as the device becomes unusable.

The same thing happens with the Passcode, Face ID, and Touch ID. 4uKey is a great solution when this happens. If Find My (formerly Find My iPhone and Find My iPad) is not enabled, you're lucky! You can use 4uKey to bypass the old account and to remove the Touch ID, Face ID, and Passcode from the device you bought so you can use it.

Exclamation NEW iOS 14.0 PANGU JAILBREAK Achieved With SSH On A12 / A13 (etc) | Should You Update to iOS 14?
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-17-2020, 07:01 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing #Pangu Jailbreak Team's latest iOS 14 Jailbreak achievement, as they have demonstrated an iOS 14 Jailbreak for A13 and A12 devices (iPhone 11, iPhone XS Max, etc.) just hours after Apple officially released iOS 14 publicly out of Beta. Pangu's Jailbreak is even more impressive if we take into consideration that they also have SSH on iOS 14 on the latest iPhone.

Pangu Team is known in the jailbreak community for their very good quality jailbreak tools released for iOS 7 up to iOS 9.3.3 back in the days. Most of Pangu Jailbreaks were Untethered too, so very very experienced security researchers. Lately, after a rather long hiatus, Pangu Team seems to be interested again in jailbreaking iOS, although no words for now on Public Releases.

Star How To JAILBREAK iOS 13.7 / 13.6.1 / 13.6 With CYDIA And Tweaks Working! (Pre-A12) [Tutorial]
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-16-2020, 09:41 PM - Forum: Jailbreak Tutorials - No Replies

In today's video, I will show you how to jailbreak iOS 13.7, iOS 13.6.1, iOS 13.6, and iOS 13.5.1 on Pre-A12 iOS devices such as #iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 7 / 7 Plus, iPhone SE, etc. with Cydia and Tweaks fully working. We're going to do this using the #CheckRa1n Jailbreak.

CheckRa1n Jailbreak, unlike Unc0ver Jailbreak, will not work on A12 and A13 devices. These devices include iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone SE 2020. If you have any of these, you'll need to wait for Unc0ver or Odyssey Jailbreak to be updated. I will let you know here on the iDevice Central channel when that happens so be sure to subscribe to stay updated.

Star NEW Odyssey JAILBREAK RELEASE! Odyssey Jailbreak Updates (Works with All Devices, iOS 13.5 to 13.0)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-15-2020, 08:37 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we're talking about #Odyssey Jailbreak, a brand new open-source iOS jailbreak that works on iOS 13.0 up to iOS 13.5 on all devices, including the A12 and A13 ones. The jailbreak comes with LibHooker and #Sileo package manager, and it has received important updates for functionality and stability.

As you are probably aware, Odyssey Jailbreak created by Coolstar and their team is a jailbreak meant to directly compete with Unc0ver Jailbreak on the iOS 13 segment. Their iOS 12 equivalent is Chimera and for iOS 11 they've developed Electra. The Odyssey Jailbreak does not come with Cydia, but rather with Sileo, their in-house package manager. Odyssey is also partially open-source and has a custom theming mechanism. People who have tried it in the community have had a good experience so far.

Star iOS 13.7 / 13.6.1 / 13.6 BIG JAILBREAK News: NEW iOS 13.7 EXPLOIT (A12/ A13 Too) & Will Be Released!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 09-14-2020, 08:25 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're talking about a new iOS 13.7 Jailbreak exploit achieved by developer @08Tc3wBB. The developer posted today that iOS 13.7 is okay for jailbreaking and I have asked for more details on private messages where he confirmed he has jailbroken iOS 13.7 successfully using his iOS 13.6.1 / iOS 13.6 / 13.5.1 kernel exploit achieved previously. According to the developer, iOS 13.7 didn't patch his exploit and it's, therefore, possible to use it for a jailbreak.

Developer @08Tc3wBB also made it clear previously that he is planning to release his kernel exploit usable for a jailbreak when it is appropriate. With this in mind, I definitely recommend you to avoid updating to iOS 14 tomorrow after the Apple Event where iOS 14 gets released out of Beta. While @08Tc3wBB confirmed iOS 13.7 is good for jailbreaking, iOS 14 wasn't confirmed so, and I advise staying away from it if you wanna use Unc0ver Jailbreak or Odyssey Jailbreak in the near future.
