Exclamation Apple LOST Corellium Lawsuit! HUGE WIN For The JAILBREAK Community Today! (Explained)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-29-2020, 10:19 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I am glad to tell you that Apple has lost the lawsuit against the iOS virtualization company, Corellium. For those unaware, Corellium has been around for a few years now and they've developed the first full solution for real iOS virtualization (NOT a simulator). This tool was used by security researchers as well as Jailbreak Developers to find vulnerabilities or test various jailbreak tools, including Unc0ver.

Apple, of course, was not happy about it. At first, Apple tried to buy the Corellium company, which failed. Then, they decided to sue Corellium for copyright infringement. The lawsuit took a long time but we finally have the result: Apple has lost. Corellium remains active and working, to the benefit of the security researchers and jailbreak developers. It's a historic win for the Jailbreak community and it goes to show that Jay Freeman (saurik) who has also sued Apple a few weeks ago, may have a chance after all.

Star iOS 14.2 / 14.1 / 14.0 JAILBREAK UPDATE: FilzaEscaped 14 NEWS + ABC Research Exploit News / Info
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-26-2020, 09:46 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we have some great news about the development of FilzaEscaped14, a Filza File Manager that is self-contained and does not require a jailbreak in order to work. As I announced in the previous video, developer Bas vT has started working on the iOS 14 to iOS 14.2 version for all devices. We now know they do have a private exploit they're using but they also wait for a different part to be released first.

Interestingly, in iOS 14.3 and iPadOS 14.3, ABC Research' exploit was also patched according to @xerusdesign, and if you recall, when I talked to ABC Research a few months ago, they did confirm they might release it once it gets patched - so we might see that too, which would be pretty useful for jailbreak purposes.

Heart iOS 14.2 / 14.1 / 14 JAILBREAK NEWS: FilzaEscaped 14 RELEASE Soon, New Jailbreak Exploits (A14 Too)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-21-2020, 10:11 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing some great news in the jailbreak community, especially if you're on iOS 14.2, iOS 14.1, or iOS 14.0 on A12, A13, or A14 devices (iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone XS, XR, etc.). The developer behind FilzaEscaped has announced that FilzaEscaped14 is in the works and may release soon.

They said all devices will be supported. Also, with the release of iOS 14.3, it's believed that ABC Research's exploit was patched. The same exploit was demonstrated for jailbreak purposes, which is great news. iOS 14.3 is also full of Google Project Zero-reported bugs, and this is great because Project Zero tends to release their bugs open source after a while and this benefits the jailbreak community.

Heart iOS 14.3 / 14.2 / 13 How To Get Tweaked Apps And JAILBREAKS WITHOUT PC (Unc0ver, Odyssey, etc.)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-19-2020, 09:27 PM - Forum: Useful Tools and Utilities - No Replies

In today's video, I will show you how to get ++Apps (Tweaked iOS apps) and iOS Jailbreaks without a computer using AppValley on iOS 14.3, iOS 14.2, iOS 14, iOS 13.7, and lower. This video supports iOS 14.3 all the way down to iOS 11 on all devices. Tweaked apps are apps with extra features added to them to enhance their performance or usability or to add compatibility to an otherwise incompatible iOS version or device.

The iOS Jailbreaks such as Odyssey Jailbreak, Unc0ver Jailbreak, Phoenix Jailbreak, Pangu Jailbreak, Saigon, and many more can be found in AppValley and installed without needing a computer and without having to sign them manually with Cydia Impactor, AltStore, or anything like this. Pretty useful if you wanna jailbreak on the go. Jailbreaking your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch allows you to install tweaks, themes, assess your device's security, and explore the file system.

  iOS 14.3 / 14.2 / 14 How To JAILBREAK With Cydia / Tweaks WORKING (Pre-A12) | iOS 14.3 WAS RELEASED!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-16-2020, 10:05 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - Replies (1)

In today's video, we're discussing Apple's release of iOS 14.3 2 days ago, and how to jailbreak certain devices on iOS 14.3 (yes, already), using CheckRa1n Jailbreak. This is a fully working jailbreak with Tweaks and Cydia on the latest iOS version.

Please do keep in mind that CheckRa1n works only on certain devices. For example, newer devices such as iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone XS, XR, and XS Max, are not supported. Devices like iPhone X, iPhone 8, and 8 Plus are supported when enabling the BPR Skip in settings, and the rest are fully supported and can be jailbroken with no issues. This tutorial shows step by step how to use CheckRa1n Jailbreak to be able to jailbreak your device and install Cydia on iOS 14.3, iOS 14.2, iOS 14.1, and lower.

Star JAILBREAK NEWS: CYDIA Creator Saurik SUES Apple Over App Store Monopoly | What Does It Mean For Us?
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-12-2020, 10:13 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're talking about the latest news in the iOS Jailbreak community. Cydia's creator, saurik, is suing Apple over monopolistic App Store policies. Jay Freeman, the father of iOS Jailbreaking and Cydia, is joining a stack of lawsuits piling against Apple Inc. over monopolistic behavior and antitrust alleged violations.

Jay Freeman, also known as saurik, the developer behind Cydia package manager on jailbroken iOS devices is not alone in this. A few months ago, Epic Games (yes, Fortnite), has also sued Apple over the same policies after the game has been taken down from the App Store making players lose entire seasons worth of gameplay over a mere payment method. Apple wants its cut from all sales and Epic seems to think otherwise. App distribution on iOS is deeply regulated by Apple, unlike on Android where anybody installs whatever they please from anywhere they want. This is what saurik and Epic, amongst others, are fighting for.

iOS 14.2 / 14.0 / 13 NEW JAILBREAK Universal Detection Bypass RELEASED! Use Apps / Games JAILBROKEN!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 12-10-2020, 09:53 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - Replies (3)

In today's video, I have a very interesting and useful tool to talk about: a Jailbreak Detection Bypass tool called KernBypass Unofficial. It basically allows you to use those applications and games on iOS that actively detect jailbroken devices and prevent you from using the app if you're jailbroken. There are many apps that do that and show alerts or tell you to remove the jailbreak, and this tool can bypass those alerts and let you use the apps normally.

KernBypass is a free open-source tweak available on the repo below, and it supports iOS 12 up to iOS 14.2 on all devices and all jailbreaks (Odyssey, Unc0ver, CheckRa1n, OdysseyRa1n), on their appropriate compatible versions. Jailbreak detection has been a nuisance for a while in the Jailbreak community. Nowadays more and more apps detect if you're jailbroken and refuse to load - this can hopefully put an end to that annoying trend.
