Heart NEW iOS 14.4.2 / 14.4 JAILBREAK Kernel Vuln RELEASED! + Bad News For iOS 14.5.1
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-02-2021, 03:51 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing a brand new kernel memory disclosure vulnerability that was released by a security researcher in the iOS community. The kernel vulnerability works with iOS 14.4.2, iOS 14.4.1, and iOS 14.4 on all devices. In this video, we're taking a look at it from the iOS Jailbreak standpoint.

At the same time, we also have some bad news for iOS 14.5.1. Apple stopped signing iOS 14.5.1 for all devices just a few minutes before I started filming this, making it impossible to downgrade to it from iOS 14.6 if you missed the opportunity. Updating to iOS 14.5.1 remains possible from a lower jailbreakable version using the Sileo Discord bug, for now.

Star iOS 14.6 / 14.5 / 14.4 JAILBREAK News: New WebKit Exploit RELEASED Useful For Safari-Based Jailbreak
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 05-31-2021, 05:59 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I have even more great news for those waiting for an iOS 14.4 to iOS 14.6 Jailbreak. A brand new WebKit exploit has been released in the community which if paired with a kernel exploit, can be used to create a proper jailbreak that would work directly from Safari, such as Jailbreak.Me back in the days. This kind of jailbreak requires no re-signing and no IPAs.

It is, indeed, the best kind of jailbreak if you exclude the untethered jailbreaks, which aren't really a thing in 2021. WebKit jailbreaks require just an active connection to the internet and you navigate to the jailbreak's website and press the "Jailbreak" button. That's all. Of course, for this to happen we need more than the WebKit exploit. We need a kernel one too, which we do not have for now.

Star iOS 14.5.1 - 14.5 JAILBREAK From Safari Announced! - WebKit Jailbreak Without Computer / IPAs
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 05-29-2021, 05:41 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing a brand new jailbreak that was announced by the Manticore Team. This, unlike the others we currently have, is a WebKit-based jailbreak which means that all you have to do is to go to a website in Safari, press jailbreak and that's it. You're jailbroken, directly on your device, without using a PC or re-signing any IPA files.

The project is currently a work in progress, so I would highly recommend monitoring it closely as it is fully open-source on GitHub. The Manticore team has been active for months developing their Manticore jailbreak which is based on cicuta_virosa. It seems that the WebKit vulnerability they use is for iOS 14.5+ for now.

Exclamation iOS 14.5.1 - 14.4 JAILBREAK News: New MASSIVE Exploit by Xerub To be Released & What It Means!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 05-26-2021, 02:02 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I have even more great news for you, in terms of iOS 14.5.1, iOS 14.5, and iOS 14.4 Jailbreak. Security Researcher xerub has announced that they will release their vulnerability that was patched in iOS 14.6 which is very likely used for a jailbreak. According to xerub, the vulnerability is pretty massive and once you see it, "it would make your head spin", implying it's a serious iOS security issue.

Xerub implies that the vulnerability itself is pretty major and everyone who's interested in keeping their devices secure should update to iOS 14.6. Of course, if you wanna jailbreak your device as soon as possible, that's a very bad idea. For those waiting for Unc0ver and Taurine jailbreak to be updated, this is pretty good news. iOS 14.6 patched a lot of vulnerabilities which makes iOS 14.5.1 and lower a gold mine for jailbreaking.

Heart How to Fix Any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch Stuck In Bootloop or Recovery Mode / DFU Mode With ReiBoot
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 05-26-2021, 12:09 AM - Forum: Useful Tools and Utilities - No Replies

In today's video, I will show you how to fix an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS 14.6, iOS 14.5.1, iOS 14, and so on, all the way down to iOS 12, that no longer boots or is stuck in Recovery Mode or DFU mode. To do this, we'll use a very easy-to-use software called ReiBoot which also has a free component. The tool supports fixing most iOS devices on most versions, but it is geared more towards newer devices. The tool is available cross-platform, for Windows and macOS.

When your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch is in Recovery Mode, it refuses to boot and it shows a laptop icon and a power cable on the screen. Bootloops and Recovery Mode loops can be caused by a variety of issues, but the most common cause is a failed update that went wrong or a jailbreak that went wrong. Deleting important system files or folders while bing jailbroken can also cause a similar effect. ReiBoot can fix the issues, but it will update your device to the latest version, so keep that in mind.

Important: Do keep in mind that this software can only fix software-related bootloops and issues. If your iOS device doesn't boot because of a hardware issue, this won't help. You cannot fix hardware issues with the software. In that case, take your device to an Apple store to have the components replaced.

Star IMPORTANT iOS 14.5.1 / 14.5 / 14.4 JAILBREAK News: New Kernel Vuln By Google Project Zero & iOS 14.6
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 05-25-2021, 02:51 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we have great news to discuss coming straight from Apple, for those who wanna jailbreak iOS 14.5.1, iOS 14.5, iOS 14.4.2, iOS 14.4.1, or iOS 14.4 on A12, A13, and A14 devices. iOS 14.6 has just been released, and with it, the security content which shows that a kernel vuln by Google Project Zero (Ian Beer) has been patched. This is huge news for us.

Google Project Zero is well known for releasing its vulnerabilities with nice write-ups explaining what's going on. The iOS Jailbreak community has benefited before from using Ian Beer's or Brandon Azad's released kernel vulnerabilities. The fact that a kernel vuln was patched in 14.6 and it's a P0 one is pretty great news.

Star iOS 14.5.1 / 14.5 / 14 IMPORTANT Downgrade News: You Can Now SAVE A12-A14 BLOBS Without JAILBREAK!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 05-22-2021, 02:27 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, I have some great news for those of you interested in downgrading your iDevices with saved SHSH2 blobs, especially for those of you with A12, A13, or A14 devices (the newest). It's finally possible to save SHSH2 blobs for downgrade purposes without being jailbroken, which was previously impossible on newer devices (A12+). A brand new tool was released.

This new tool is completely free and open-sourced, and it supports extracting the ApNonce and Generator directly from the device on A12 and newer which means that you do not have to be jailbroken anymore to be able to save blobs which comes in handy if you're planning to downgrade or upgrade when a jailbreak is out and the iOS version isn't signed anymore.

Heart iOS 14.5.1 / 14.4 JAILBREAK News: New Kernel Debugging Tool Released For iOS 14.x (KTRW) [EXPLAINED]
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 05-20-2021, 03:02 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we have some great news for those of you waiting patiently for an iOS 14.5.1, iOS 14.5, iOS 14.4 Jailbreak to be released, especially on the newer devices. A brand new tool for iOS Kernel Debugging has been updated for iOS 14, called KTRW. This can help security researchers find kernel bugs more easily which can, in turn, result in a faster jailbreak.

The tool itself works with all iOS 14 versions because it was updated from the old iOS 13 version created by security researcher Brandon Azad of Google Project Zero. The tool is basically made around CheckRa1n because it takes advantage of PongoOS which isn't available on newer devices, but the research people can do with the tool on older devices may apply in some quantity to newer devices too, like iPhone 12 and iPhone 11.
