Star You Should REBOOT Your iPhone EVERY DAY! Here's Why!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 07-25-2023, 04:42 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

▶ Get AnyUnlock to fix forgotten / accidental Apple ID, MDM, Screen Lock, and more (ad)

If you aren't rebooting your iOS device every day, you really should start to. iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches all use a very complicated operating system that contains dozens of background programs, daemons, and applications that keep the device running. If you never power down your device, these programs as well as the kernel of the device never get a chance to start fresh so over time bugs and memory leaks become bigger and bigger as they accumulate. This results in a slower device, worse battery life, hanging, overheating, and overall degraded performance.

This piece of advice really applies to every device. It's always best to reboot them now and then to let them start fresh. There's also an important security rationale behind this. With the popularity of 0-click security risks nowadays, if you never reboot your device you can be running malicious code for months. If you do power down your device often, any code running in the memory gets terminated, lowering your risk.

Star iOS 15.2 - 16.5 A12+ HUGE JAILBREAK NEWS: Two KERNEL EXPLOITS RELEASED! Can be used for Jailbreak!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 07-24-2023, 10:11 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

Today we got the biggest Jailbreak News of the year. Developer @_p0up0u_  released out of the blue their open-source kfd project which allows kernel read / write operations and contains two major kernel vulns. The project was released open-source on GitHub and it supports all modern devices including iPhone 14, iPhone 12, and so on. With this toolkit and a PPL bug, we can create a fully functional jailbreak tool, according to Dopamine Jailbreak developer, opa334.

It's very important to install iOS 16.6 Beta 2 if you updated to iOS 16.5.1 or newer because iOS 16.5.1 and newer patched the bugs! iOS 16.6 Beta 2 happens to be signed and it doesn't patch the kernel bugs! You can find the IPSWs here: https://idevicecentral.com/jailbreak-gui...jailbreak/

Jailbreaking your device is legal thanks to a DMCA exemption granted in 2012 and updated in 2015 which makes jailbreaking your device perfectly fine. With a jailbreak, you can customize the look and feel of your device's UI even further by installing themes, custom icons, custom fonts, animations, and tweaks.

Exclamation Want To JAILBREAK iOS 15.5 - 16.5? YOU ARE ON THE WRONG VERSION! Do this Right Now! (A12+)
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 07-24-2023, 10:10 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

Yesterday the community recommended iOS 16.6 Beta 2, but ElleKit developer performed some tests and figured out the kernel bug is very buggy on iOS 16.6 Beta 2

If you want to jailbreak your A12+ device as soon as possible using the newly released kernel bugs, you should downgrade to iOS 16.6 Beta 1 instead of Beta 2 as fast as possible before it gets unsigned.

You can find the IPSW for iOS 16.6 Beta 1 for your device right here: https://idevicecentral.com/jailbreak-gui...jailbreak/

Star iOS 15.0 - 17: Must-Have APP: Change Your GPS Location In Any App / Game With NO JAILBREAK Needed
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-27-2023, 08:59 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I will show you a must-have app that allows you to change the location to anywhere in the world for all apps that use location services. This can help you enhance your privacy, play movement-based games without moving, and keep your location private.

The iRocket LocSpoof app allows you to either plot a route that will be simulated (and it allows you to set the speed you are moving to the destination with), or it allows you to teleport the GPS to that location thus making your phone believe it really is in whatever location you specified. Even Google Maps gets fooled by this and shows the new location. So do AR games that require movement.

Exclamation iOS 17 Beta DO THIS RIGHT NOW! How To ENABLE Developer Mode And Why You Should Do It!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-24-2023, 10:39 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, I will show you how to enable Developer Mode on iOS 17 Beta as well as on iOS 17 final version once it comes out. This new mode first introduced by Apple in iOS 16 allows you to install IPA applications, deploy Xcode-built apps, and start coding your own apps on your device.

The European Commission also forces Apple to start allowing app sideloading in Europe starting with iOS 17, so this feature will likely also require Developer Mode to be enabled for it to work. This decision was made by the EU to prevent monopoly on App Stores by Apple.

Heart iOS 16.5 - 15.0 JAILBREAK BIG News: New Kernel + WebKit Vulns For Jailbreak ACHIEVED! All Devices!
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-23-2023, 09:17 PM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In this video, we're discussing the latest iOS 16.5.1 release, which patches two very important vulnerabilities that could be used for jailbreak purposes on iOS 16.5 and lower on all devices. The two vulnerabilities are a kernel one and a WebKit one.

Apple recently released iOS and iPadOS 16.5.1 which patches only these two major vulns. These vulns are likely perfect for jailbreak purposes as they can be used to achieve code execution which is good (but not enough by itself) for jailbreaking.

Question iOS 15.0 - 16.5 JAILBREAK INFO: Should You UPDATE To iOS 17 or Stay For a JAILBREAK? All Devices
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-18-2023, 12:53 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

In today's video, we're discussing whether you should update to iOS 17 Beta and experience the brand-new features introduced by Apple this year at WWDC23, or stay on iOS 15.0 - 16.5 if you are waiting for a jailbreak.

It's usually a better idea to wait on a lower iOS version as jailbreak tools tend to be released for older versions first. iOS 15.0 - 16.1.2 would be a great range to be on, but you can still use Cowabunga Lite even on iOS 17 to get some tweaks and themes.

Heart iOS 15 - 16.5 JAILBREAK News: Cowabunga Lite WINDOWS Progress! Get Tweaks / Themes For ALL DEVICES
Posted by: GeoSn0w - 06-13-2023, 09:40 AM - Forum: Jailbreak News - No Replies

The new Cowabunga Lite allows you to install tweaks and themes for your iOS device from iOS 15.0 up to iOS 17 without a jailbreak on all devices, new and old. Amongst the tweaks, you can customize the status bar, home screen, app icons, carrier name, control center layout, and so on.

Developer LeminLimez just announced that the Windows version of Cowabunga Lite is coming along nicely. It looks like icon theming (themes) are now functional on Windows as well, and other Cowabunga tweaks are already working. A beta should soon be available for Windows as well. Soon Cowabunga Lite will no longer be macOS only.
