In this video, we're discussing the best iOS version to be on if you wanna jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch as soon as possible, especially on A12 and A13 devices, we're discussing the new iPhone 12 coming in a few days at the Apple Event, and we're also discussing the estimated time of release for the jailbreaks (highly estimated).

This is an update video to ensure all of you are on the proper iOS version, as downgrades are not possible. The landscape changes every day in the jailbreak community, and therefore I try to keep you updated as much as I can. The new iPhone 12 will very likely feature the new A14 chip demonstrated by Apple a few weeks ago on the September 15 event on the new iPads, and it will therefore be a challenge for the Jailbreak community. Couple that with the fact that the new iPhone 12 will likely come with iOS 14.2 by default, and that's not looking good. If you are planning to get a new iPhone 12 when it releases in 2 days, do keep in mind jailbreaking it will likely take months.

Hello,
I have an iPad Air 2 (Wifi)
Device Identifier: iPad5,3
on iOS 13.5.1
running Checkra1n 0.11.0

I didn't update to 13.7 or 14 as I didn't know if it will be worth it.

You said to avoid iOS 14 even on checkrain devices due to the extra security measures added (but I don't understand why if checkra1n already supports it for my device? A8X I think...) Do the new security measures still prevent homebrew and tweaks even if checkra1n said that they support my device on iOS 14? Can chekra1n currently allow Cydia and non-signed applications and tweaks on iOS 14 (for my device / A8X) or not? Can you please explain?

Thank you in advance!
