Hey, does anyone have technical knowledge as to why the ReportCrash daemon uses so much of my CPU and therefore battery? I have uninstalled crashreporter/cr4shed and still the ReportCrash daemon frequently ‘jams’ and uses 100% CPU until i notice and manually kill it. I have since disabled it in iCleaner but i still don’t know why it occurs in the first place, particularly when i am having no crashes that would trigger the daemon?
The reportcrashd is a Launch Daemon, not part of CrashReporter or Cr4shed. It's triggered only when something crashed, in your case could be another daemon. I've heard tipsd crashing a lot and triggering reportcrashd in the past.

Not al crashes produce a log.
