Hey there!
I have an iPad 2g (GSM) that I bought from ebay and it turned out that it's locked (although the seller mentioned something about it being used) so I didn't know it's locked. Anyway I'm trying to find a way to bypass the lock screen where it asks for an email/ID and password. Note that there's no hint about the email aka no dots covering the email address which seems pretty weird no?
The iPad is running on iOS 7.0.4 so I wanted to know whether it's possible to stay on the same version and bypass or should I upgrade to the latest version and see if DNS crash tests would work for me?
any suggestions are very welcome and much appreciated.
Thanks!
P.S: I don't really care about cellular services and thus i'm willing to pay for the service if any of the Trusted individual / service users are interested to help out. I can pay in crypto though.
Best regards!

Thank you,
Yeah i already visited his twitter and checked his website and the service, seems very legit but do you know how can I contact the guy and pay for the service in cryptocurrency instead of paypal?
any info? I'm really interested in getting it unlocked.
Thanks
update: unfortunately the guy isn't responding to me on twitter
idk why though
Final update: I was able to pay sonick using paypal and the service promises as described But with some limitations that I wasn't aware of:
Sonick's bypass only works as long as the iPad/idevice hasn't been rebooted... once you reboot the device it autolocks to icloud and you must use the tool again to bypass the setup.app (it takes really less than 5 seconds)
other thing is that you cannot use icloud account which is stated and known (but i want to make sure it's clear for everyone else trying to get those info)
SIM is disabled (stated on the website, but I didn't test if it works or not because when you jailbreak there's an option to restore and activate carrier on GSM models
)
ios 9.3.5 specifically cannot be jailbroken due to specific limitations with phoenix (cert expired) and you need to resign it yourself by using a MACOS with Xcode...
All older iOSes before 9.3.5 i guess won't have this issue.
So now i'm stuck at the point where i need to manually sign the package (which i have no clue how but i'mm downloading catalina along with xcode to see what can I do)
Thanks Sonick14 and Geosn0w

Jailbreak it and remove /Applications/Setup.app
Done. No more need for re-doing it after reboot.

What tool you need to use? what iOS versión you have?

iOS 9.3.5
32-bit
Phoenix semi untethered
Unfortunately I wasn't able to install it using cydia impactor nor any of ifunbox, 3utools, tongbu or any webview based app that has custom profile.
Xcode is returning weird errors when I try to resign it and or modify the ipa / rebuild it / install it
web view apps are returning errors on installation attempt. says cannot install phoenix at this time i think because the device is in lockdown mode although the setup has been bypassed
edit:
https://github.com/dora2-iOS/ch3rryflower seems something nice to look into, will report back when i test it

I suffer friend just like you kk but I managed to install after a long time through iOsNinja this is not possible and only apple every day revoking. cydia impactor apple also spoiled but already has alternatives like alt deploy and nullximpactor. good luck
