I have an iPad 6th gen that i picked up from a friend and it has an icloud account with an unknown password :/ with the news of the recent bypass, is there a way to remove the account? I haven't restored it yet so it is still logged in to that account and is not locked, just can't sign out obviously.

This tutorial is for MAC only
first make sure libimobiledevice is installed on your mac
Connect your phone and jailbreak with checkra1n
Now here are the steps to follow after you have jailbroken your phone
1- open 2 terminal windows
2- in terminal 1 type: iproxy 4444 44
3- in terminal 2 type: ssh root@localhost -p 4444
answer with YES and use alpine as password
type: mount -o rw,union,update /
then: echo "" >> /.mount_rw
then: cd /
then: cd Applications
then: rm -rf Setup.app
then: uicache -a
then: killall backboardd
ENJOY

I can confirm that this worked on an ipod touch 6 gen with 12.4.5, however doesnt not work on ipads or ipad minis...
Hi,
I'm experiencing the same issue on iPad mini 2 on 12.4.5.
It does not work. Is there anything in progress to fix this issue ? Thanks
