Hey guys Im relatively new to the iOS jb scene and I am not entirely sure the correct way to go about safely upgrading to 12.4 and switching to Uncover. This is probably simple to you all but its all new to me.
Been waiting on this update especially after seeing how Coolstar treated Nepta .

In order to migrate from Chimera to Unc0ver, you need to install Unc0ver, activate Restore ROOT FS into the settings of the app and press the blue button on the main Unc0ver Screen. after the reboot, you can Jailbreak with Unc0ver and remove the remaining Chimera application if any.
how about the update to 12.4?
Im just not sure if there is any step to look out for during an update to a non signed ios version (isnt 12.4 unsigned now?). Forgive my ignorance;
If I have something mistaken can someone just say it?
Or is this the type of forum where if you made a mistake everyone just acts like there is nothing worth commenting on?

When you ask a question different than the thread you're in, you need to make a new thread. That's how forums work, otherwise, you won't get the help you need because I don't see your thread, and you spam the wrong thread.
To answer your question, it works to update to iOS 12.4, but you need to use iOS 12.4.1's SEP and Baseband. iOS 13's are not compatible.

So I am not sure why its not the right section unless you are just b-lining to the title fo the post and ignoring the rest....
I am unfamiliar with the tools I need to do any of this or where to download the sep and baseband.

I do want to report on a positive note that I switched to Uncover regardless of not doing the iOS update (I want to do that but I just dont know how) and everything is working, the JB process is faster.
Glad to be done with Sileo and Coolstar.
I have been using Chimeral with Sileo on my iPhone cd mac iOS 12.1.2 since it came out and have had no problems I don't have many tweaks mostly utility tweaks this forum is great for getting questions answered
Maybe this forum helped you but I basically got someone telling me to use restore root fs which was not the problem. I swear he didnt even read the post just wanted to pretend to be helpful.
