i heared new iPadOS will have possibility to connect
usb drive. Is it only for transfer photos and videos, similar to transfer between 2 devices using lightning to lightning connector?
anybody with iPadOS installed?

presume if jailbroken can transfer any file Smile

No, it will support most Mass Storage USB devices such as USB Cameras, USB HDD, USB Flash Drive, USB SD Card Adapters and even mouse.
