In today's video, we're discussing the newly released iOS 26 Developer Beta. The #WWDC25 is finally over, and the developer betas for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe are all out. Since Apple made these betas free, you no longer need to have a paid developer account to be able to install them, but you should not.

The Beta 1 is terrible. On my device, it is slow, glitchy, works as if it's in slow motion, many apps do not work, your backups will not work if you want to go back to iOS 18.5, and the device overheats to the point where it dims the screen often. I highly recommend you wait at least for the Public Beta before trying iOS 26 as it feels rushed and very buggy.

Jailbreaking your device is legal thanks to a DMCA exemption granted in 2012 and updated in 2015, which makes jailbreaking your device perfectly fine. With a jailbreak, you can customize the look and feel of your device's UI even further by installing themes, custom icons, custom fonts, animations, and tweaks.
