I have an a12, ios 12.4 device, downloaded unc0ver through cydia impactor, jailbroke and everything was okay. Then after like 10 minutes my iphone turned off, and wouldnt turn back on,tried hard restart etc.. also the battery got flaming hot. After a while it turned back on, now every time i try to jailbreak this happens, turns off, battery gets stupid hot, and norhing works, after 5-10mins it turns back on. Wth do i do?

mine has done the same but wont restart, screen has gone black too. going to have to wait unitl my battery dies
This sounds like a pretty serious issue. Please navigate to Settings -> Privacy -> Analytics and give me any log that has to do with Unc0ver. Don't use it until this is fixed to prevent extensive damage to the battery.

i cannot access iphone atm as its still burning up on my desk but its still crashed. i have downloaded the log from itunes if you need that
Press up on volume, then down on volume (once each), then hold power button until you see Apple logo. I have iPhone XS.
Seems like a boot loop, and I’ve had this happen x2 with jailbreak.
As i just told u, i tried that (force rebooting). It turned on after a while though. Although my biggest problem is just the fact that jb isnt working. Sorry geosnow but i could not find any logs that has to do with unc0ver.

Did you try doing a ROOT FS restore?

Me too . I tried to Jailbreak my iPhone Xs 12.4 ipa just now . No Cydia was installed the apps on my phone kept crashing I cant even do anything. I don't know what to do . Can someone please help . I tried force restart but it's not working.
This is a common bug from what I can see. It's caused by a kernel panic which triggers a very long sleep() function of 10 seconds or more. Pwn is aware and will likely take action tomorrow. Don't use Unc0ver until then.
