In today's video, I will show you how to fix an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS 14.6, iOS 14.5.1, iOS 14, and so on, all the way down to iOS 12, that no longer boots or is stuck in Recovery Mode or DFU mode. To do this, we'll use a very easy-to-use software called ReiBoot which also has a free component. The tool supports fixing most iOS devices on most versions, but it is geared more towards newer devices. The tool is available cross-platform, for Windows and macOS.

When your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch is in Recovery Mode, it refuses to boot and it shows a laptop icon and a power cable on the screen. Bootloops and Recovery Mode loops can be caused by a variety of issues, but the most common cause is a failed update that went wrong or a jailbreak that went wrong. Deleting important system files or folders while bing jailbroken can also cause a similar effect. ReiBoot can fix the issues, but it will update your device to the latest version, so keep that in mind.

Important: Do keep in mind that this software can only fix software-related bootloops and issues. If your iOS device doesn't boot because of a hardware issue, this won't help. You cannot fix hardware issues with the software. In that case, take your device to an Apple store to have the components replaced.
