They've successfully achieved and released an iOS 15.4.1 and lower kernel vulnerability which could be used for a jailbreak. According to security researcher Ned Williamson, they will also present a brand new technique at BlackHat 2022.
This vulnerability could prove useful for jailbreak developers like Taurine and Unc0ver Team in order to update their tools all the way up to iOS 15.4.1, but it's by no means all it takes. Overall it's a great achievement by a talented security researcher in our community.
