In today's video, we're clarifying the current status of the A12 Jailbreak (iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS MAX) for iOS 12.4, iOS 12.2, iOS 12.1.4 and #iOS 12.1.3. As you probably know, there are two main jailbreaks currently, the Unc0ver and the Chimera #Jailbreak. While Pwn20wnd, one of the developers behind Unc0ver announced today that #Unc0ver for #A12 is technically finished, Coolstar, one of the developers behind #Chimera (basically Electra) has stated that he will not update Chimera for iOS 12.4 / 12.1.3 publicly. Coolstar's statements were kind odd but not unexpected. He said on a private conversation on his Discord server that he has no plans to release his iOS 12.4 A12 Jailbreak and he'll only release a demo. He also said that a PAC bypass goes for hundreds of thousands. The conversation got leaked and made quite a buzz on Reddit and Twitter.
On the other side, the Unc0ver Team made it clear that the jailbreak with PAC-less Cydia is done and we're looking at a couple more days of wait. Pwn said he fixed the performance issues that occurred and it works much better than with a PAC bypass in place. More details, in the video.
